i am v. fond of the “percy and piper are basically siblings” dynamic. like, percy acting like a big brother to piper and (jokingly) giving jason the shovel talk like, 2 years too late (”annabeth beat you to it, percy. and she was kinda scarier no offence bro.”) and piper generally being as big a goob over sally as percy is. both these nerds attempting to bake for sally together, and piper chipping in money for emergencies (because percy would never flat out ask for money, or accept much of it from her–and piper wouldn’t ever want to make him feel awkward about cash) and percy/sally repaying her via dinner invites and extra helpings of sally’s desserts. ??? piper and percy helping each other do homework and ultimately just ending up on a very long call to annabeth because aLGEBRA SUCKS.

i jut realized that Piper’s mom is technically married to Leo’s dad. That makes them step brother and step sister. Remember in the Mark of Athéna when Piper said Leo was a little brother she never had… SO CUTE OMG
