Apparently the Congo river is deep enough that there are several species of fish with cavedwelling adaptations (near-total to total blindness, loss of pigmentation, etc) because light doesn't reach where they live. the fuck

Manipulator modificaputis - a predatory cockroach from the Cretaceous that was discovered in amber. It superficially resembles a mantis in that it has has elongated legs and a head that could rotate around. These shared characteristics suggest Manipulator was also an active predator.
