I already wrote this as an end note in the ch but i figured may as well ask it here?
so I know this is called Pen Pals and I love love love the idea of keeping up with the theme of like, you know, exchanging emails, but also idk, they've already exchanged social media but I also don't want to stray away from the pen pals motif. I'm kinda at a stalemate right now and unsure what to do in the future for this fic in terms of set up? like should I still keep the email exchange stuff or...?

I’ve just been busy with a bunch of other projects that I’ve decided to start up, which clearly, I should have learned from my many mistakes from the past whenever I start new projects without finishing the old ones
but considering the disaster friends series was more of me just chilling out and writing with no clear plot, I’ve been pretty lax on updates (which, again, my bad due to infinite projects that I keep starting).
Also the pandemic has kinda gotten to me and I lost a bit of motivation. but I do have plans to release some of chapters I’ve already saved as drafts. i just haven’t gotten around to publishing them quite yet. I know i’ve been focusing a bit more on Stop Texting Me because I really want to build up the eventual Ikarishipping (I have some plans on how I want to do that along with some fantastic tropes that I love) since i’ve kinda ran outta ideas for CAGC, and Pen Pals i’m figuring some stuff out like, am I gonna keep having them exchange emails? am I gonna switch them out for that? or maybe people/readers want me to keep Lucas and HIlbert exchanging emails? i’m not quite sure.

A/N: HEY.
I'M BACK
I'M so sorry for like, the absolute SHIT delay. So many things were happening:
I was not feeling motivated, I started a webcomic on tapas (it's called "Weirdos and FBI Man" under the same name I have here, EvilPenguinRika) I had severe dry eyes during the colder months of 2019, and I started a new program at school (film/screenwriting) but had to stop half-way because covid-19.
It has honestly been like, months since I've decided to self-quarantine, meaning I have a lot of time on my hands to really get the creative juices going. I'm going to try to slowly get back into writing fanfic, especially for the Disaster Friends universe (so this fic, Pen Pals, and Stop Texting Me). I'll try to see how well I can juggle three different fics, but updates will be all over the place and super random.
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this little update note, hope you'll look forward to future chapters!!

I’ve been doing okay. It’s been a hit and miss lmao. I hope your holidays were much better tho lol
Will also write the update here So my eyes got some intense red and dry issue these past 4 weeks. Thus not being able to write or post or even draw some stuff for the Disaster Friends series. Hopefully when they get better, or when I'm confident enough to get on a computer, that I will resume the series!
