y’all make jokes about crises and say you’re “coping” when a majority of the time you’re not even affected by it. y’all did the same thing with all the ww3 jokes and the only difference between that and coronavirus jokes is the subject matter. it’s literally sickening how insensitive to the deaths of the most at risk groups some of you are and y’all know you aren’t really in THAT much danger or else you wouldn’t be laughing. it only affects you in theory.

when the elderly tell you your jokes about how coronavirus is going to kill all the old people so we should be celebrating aren’t funny it’s not some boomer shit. when those with compromised immune systems or disabilities tel you your jokes about wanting coronavirus because you want to die aren’t funny it’s not because they lack a sense of humor. and when you get called out on your lack of compassion your “i’m coping” nonsense falls flat. you’re not coping with anything because what exactly are you coping with? your 97 percent chance of survival? or the loss of loved ones that only minutes ago you made jokes at their expense? stop making excuses and just learn some compassion
