I just reached s4 of winx club but before I seen people commenting on how wrong the boys are for being so jealous. It has been a while since I've seen winx club and now watching NOT THEY ARNT.

Im sorry but if my partner was kiss their ex or any person an the cheek hella yea I would be upset too. And they let him and his friend hang out at ur apartment. Nooooo. Bloom was so wrong for that.

OKAY RIVEN even is is wrong BUT so was musa!! Riven should have not been taking his insecurities out on musa however she WAS crushing on an older man WHILE HAVING A BOYFRIEND. If Jason hadn't been engaged she would have 100% started dating him after breakup with riven or at ñeast would want too.

Im rewatching winx club for the first time since childhood and I wish we got to see the specialists and winxs more like an actual friend group instead of a group of boy and a group of girl who have their respected partner and hang out sometimes. I need to see more interactions like stella and sky argue in s2 in the cave, Flora conguraging riven to talk to musa in s1. Even small intercation makes happ like when Bloom huga heila after save and reuniting the guys in the omega dimensions. This is as far as Ive gotten so for and i hope to get more/notice more of these interactions that i didnt notice as a kid.

Cmon they are a groups 11 plus people I know they wont all insanely close but they are friend i mean more banter between them.

Bear with me as I try to explain why Diaspro of all characters is the one that really shows how bad the reboot is.

In the Winx reboot, Diaspro looks like a caricature of a mean girl: someone who thinks they're hot shit when they actually look like hot shit. The hair is the biggest tell (even though from the stills I've seen there are more hair sins in this *side eyes Daphne*), but we also have the overly plump lips and super thin eyes - no other girl in the series looks like this. It's visual symbolism for a young audience - Diaspro doesn't look very nice, therefore you should infer she isn't very nice. And making her look like a plastic doll with sky-high hair and frills means she's not threatening.

Therein lies the problem. Diaspro should be threatening. That is her entire point. She's Bloom's character foil. She's grown up in royalty, trained her whole life to be queen, has been put into an arranged marriage with a prince from a powerful planet for her effort. And yes, she's standoffish and rude, but she's also beautiful. Bloom sees her as a threat to her and Sky's relationship, and she kind of should! Everyone in the royal world - a world Bloom is very much outside of - is telling her that is the kind of person a prince should be with.

But Sky doesn't want to be with Diaspro. He wants to be with Bloom. Diaspro has the royal bloodline (that's alive) and the money and the looks but that doesn't matter to Sky. Bloom is unapologetically herself, dressing in Earth clothes and being nice to everyone she meets. Her personality is what draws Sky in, and that is the one place where Bloom outshines Diaspro without question. This shows the audience that yes, there will be people with more money and better looks, but if you're kind and true to yourself, you will find love.

That kind of message is impossible to convey when you make you main character's foil look like AI Botox Barbie. I genuinely don't understand it. How did you fumble the bag this hard?

I was searching for this fart audio meme to send to a friend, so im scrolling through tik tok to find the right and when mind you im in a parking lot in the car waiting for my mom to get back from the store and I have the windows down. So this lady showed up selling strawberry, and I have turned her down because I got no money now I'm sort of trying not to laugh because im still thinking about the fart videos which are paused Aad as she leaves, I realize that she must hear my laugh at the fart vidoes while she was walking up. This happened less than 5 minutes, and im still laughing. Im gonna day of embarrassment
