I just moved into a new apartment that faces onto what used to be a pool that got converted into a little lawn for tenants dogs to pee on. There's no sprinklers, and with all the urine of course the grass is dying. I, being a 30 year old man with strong dad vibes, have made it my personal mission to get the lawn fixed up. I feel like a punk, I hopped my fence this morning with a rinse kit and watered the lawn under the radar.

The older I get, the more I realize Hank Hill was right.

It is literally the only time I can do any accent well and it's yours LOL. Funny enough I am this way with all songs. I can sing along like I hear it and copy the accent of the singer as a result. But if you asked me to do an accent on the fly it would be soul-ending cringe. I also can't sing it from memory in the accent.

I'm not sure what my brain's up to with all this tbh

One of the best things about moving out to live in my own apartment as a financially stable adult is that I don't have to worry about being the roommate people tell stories about.

Like the time I bought a very large dildo for dildo purposes, which came wrapped in a sealed plastic bag. I placed the box with the dildo in it into my laundry basket to keep my cat from chomping on it. Well, my roommate was moving out and let me know he was gonna take the washer and dryer the next day, so it was time to do my last loads of laundry, and in my panic, I forgot the box, started laundry, and went out to run some errands. A few hours later I came home to find that the fitted sheet I'd washed had sorta wrapped around the rest of my clothes and ballooned up, creating a perfect little table with the still plastic wrapped, still extremely large dildo sitting neatly on top.

And by that time, I mean today, this happened today.

i think transfems should be allowed to be good at sports.

sometimes a trans woman wins against a cis woman. sometimes a cis woman wins against another cis woman too. yet only one of them is allowed to win without facing consequences.

it's not enough to support transfems in sports if your support hinges on us being bad at them.

As I see it there's 2 options:

a) it's professional sports, in which case everyone there is likely some sort of exceptional mutant.

Joe the office worker cannot, in fact, beat Serena Williams at Tennis.

I'm pretty sure that I (unaltered müllerian anatomy) would lose against any professional female athlete, cis or trans.

b) it's not profession sports - like a hobby sports club or school sports - in which case the point is not to win but to have fun, exercise & socialize. Are we going to exclude any person from exercise and socialization for being part of a minority?

This is even worse with children, as the school is arguably supposed to teach them exercise, self-regulation & socialization. Who gets to say that any random child doesn't deserve to be healthy, have a positive stress outlet, or have friends?
