First and foremost, the mun is named DJ, I use they/them pronouns and I’m 30 years old. I have been roleplaying on this website for over a decade now and I have seen pretty much every drama known to man on here. I will NOT be getting involved in whatever drama is unfolding in the RPC these days. I’m here to write my muse and enjoy myself. Because of this you will never see me reblog a call out. I don’t want to see them, though I will block if the person in question is truly dreadful / a predator, but I will not involve myself. In turn, I will also unfollow if you continuously spread call outs, I personally am not here to get involved in petty drama.

GENERAL PSA because this site is shit and I need to warn you all!
I cannot stress this enough, that I am very protective of Alex as a character, I have been writing him on and off for over a decade, and the stigma and general view on his character quite frankly pisses me off. I don't care if someone dislikes him, there are a lot of reasons to not like Alex as a character ( specifically for how Marvel treats Lorna whenever Alex is involved ) but aside from that, if you're an asshole about your opinions on Alex to me. I will block you. Alex is more than the memes and jokes about his terrible choices, and furthermore he gets WAY TOO MUCH judgement for things that were outside of his control.
Alex is a character with mental illness, he has a boat load of issues, and I plan on writing full meta posts regarding his most infamous wtf moment ( the M-Day speech ) but let me remind you all that the Avengers and specifically Steve Rogers were using him as a mouthpiece to make themselves look better to the mutant community. Most people only read the speech and don't read the actual comic where by the end of that run Alex tells both Steve and the rest of the team to go fuck themselves and realizes that what he did was wrong and that Scott was right.
Furthermore, I will continue to stress that Alex is not some douchebag Summers brother, and he frankly has better history with his romantic interests than Scott does. ( The bar is low there lmao ) But the idea that Alex is some jackass who treats people like shit on a regular basis is frankly false. He has his moments, but at his core Alex is someone who cares a lot and tries with all his might to make the correct choices and fails more often than not. He's a man with an extremely low opinion of himself ( something that calls back to him being frankly terrified of his own powers and the lack of control he once had ) and his own self esteem issues when everyone ( including himself ) is comparing him to Scott. ( Alex has a long history of feeling unwanted, going back to his days when he was fostered by a family who used him to replace their dead son so expect a fun post about that one day lmao )
That's enough ranting, tl;dr, don't preach to me about how my muse is terrible when I bet your character has done just as many shitty things. Characters with flaws are interesting, if they didn't have them they'd be boring and the puritan mindset of having to morally make every character RIGHTEOUS doesn't interest me. I don't gaf if your character is or isn't a better person.

When it comes to formatting I have grown past the need for fancy formatting, small text with a few bold and italic words here and there and maybe an icon, but that's it. You can format all you want, but I won't go all out and make anything crazily fancy.

As I am very much over the age of eighteen, I will not be following blogs that are written by anyone below the age of 20. It’s just a personal preference and I apologize in advance for it. That being said, this blog may be NS//FW at times whether it be more adult themes or plain smut.
I love shipping, I like writing romance, plotting is usually required for longstanding ships, but feel free to send in shippy prompts to test the waters. Usually chemistry with our writing is required though, so please don't assume!
