Echo Park Los Angeles. The City of Los Angeles operation to clear out the remaining homeless people from the park. Police spend around three hours moving people back about 100yds along the road adjacent to the encampment. During this time the unhorsed residents were negotiating with the city of LA which resulted in the residents being able to stay one more night. Probably around 200-300 cops, most in riot gear with Police helicopters hovering above the whole time. The Los Angeles protest turned violent today. Thousand of protestors took to the streets. Police fired hundreds of rounds of rubber bullets in an attempt to regain control of the street. Here’s how to clean your Activated Charcoal mask filter element. 👉🏻 Remove the vent valves by twisting the top 45 degrees 👉🏻 Remove the filter element 👉🏻Spray the filter element with Isopropyl Alcohol both inside and out 👉🏻Lay the element in sunlight for an hour. 🌞 Ok if you’re on the UK you’re screwed with no sunlight. But the alcohol does most of the work. 👉🏻The neoprene body of the mask should be washed in hot soapy water and laid flat to dry. I have more filter elements coming. Activate Charcoal mask filters can be cleaned. Here’s how.

Simple remove both vent valves by turning the top half 45 degrees and removing.

Remove the filter element

Spray the filter element with Isopropyl alcohol alcohol both inside and out.

lay the filter element in the sun for a few hours.

The neoprene body can simply be washed in hot soapy water and laid flat to dry.

I thought I’d share these with you, now that I’ve put my ID out there. A series I created back in 2011 whilst still working as a news photographer ( I didn’t know what MTN94 was back then ). I wanted to reverse engineer some of Banksy’s iconic pieces by considering what the ‘real life’ piece would look like. Each shot took weeks or preparation from getting the costume, finding the location, shooting (guerrilla style with no permits). The models were all friends from @crossfithollywood who generously contributed their time. The final set comprised of 19 images. I’ll post more in a few days. Hope you like them.
