Ah, I don't know. Had some thoughts about Shadow and the boundaries it probably set for itself after Sam's rejection of assimilation and it turned into something maybe uncharacteristically cute but I'm tired and miss winter time when I can snuggle in a blanket too.

I’m completely normal about Shadow guys

#shadow look outside #look outside #Sam look outside #I don’t feel like labeling Joel rat baby and Lyle #I mean they are important to the art peice but like they barely there #the idea of shadow needing to watch these emotional connections happen with Sam and his kids #OUGH #shadow can never see them grow up in a parental way #nor can him and Lyle be together -Lyle loves Sam #not shadow #he’s so lonely even with being with everyone he used to love #he still is Sam’s shadow #even if he could communicate what would that even help? No one would believe that he is Sam and is deserving of their love #he can earn it in a different way but it is so disconnected from what he wants #angst my beloved
