Saturday, October 25th marked the release of Strong and Independent, the debut album from the newly formed Playback Musik. They celebrated with an amazing event in Philadelphia, which sold out.

Incredible Buck, Classi J, Muzical, Jovie Joffas and J Harmony, all performed the album live, which was executive produced by King Britt, who manned the controls.

As a bonus, the directors for the Nas documentary, Time is Illmatic, did an exclusive community screening and Q&A about the making of the film.

We chose this film, since its story acts as an inspiration to Playback Musik.

Playback Musik did an exclusive interview and special set at Drexel University's WKDU 91.7fm, Electronic Music Marathon. Music from the debut release Strong & Independent were played and a special dj set by King Britt accompanied by Classi J and Muzical on the mic.
