Greetings, Operatives! In our 13th installment, we’d like to cover our upcoming Cyber Case system as well as the Memory Cell (MC) Shop. These two new features will be implemented into the game with our March episode, First Connection: Part I - Persona. Continue reading to learn more about these systems!
CYBER CASES
A Cyber Case is a random reward box that can be purchased with NX or earned through events. Each Cyber Case will provide you with an opportunity for one of hundreds of items to enhance your Section 9 persona with new and never before seen content.
Cyber Cases contain purely cosmetic items like weapon skins, operative skins, paints, stickers, emblems, and more. Opening (1) Cyber Case will provide (1) item. Cyber Cases are sold in the bundles below. Purchasing a bigger bundle will provide extra value.

Cyber Cases will also be directly sold through Steam.

INTER GATE
The Inter Gate is a set grid of 15 items with increasing chances to receive the item you want with each “spin.” The 15 items can be refreshed with 5,000 GP and are pulled from the same list of items as the Cyber Cases.
The 15 items vary in rarity:
1 Legendary
2 Epic
4 Rare
8 Common
The first spin starts out at 10 Key Bits. Key Bits are sold in-game for NX and can be earned through in-game events. We will also be selling Key Bits through Steam. Key Bits are sold in the following bundles:

Price: 1,990 NX
Key Bits Count: 110
Price: 9,990 NX
Key Bits Count: 240
Price: 19,990 NX
Key Bits Count: 500
Price: 39,990 NX
As stated above, the first spin costs 10 Key Bits, then increases by (3) Key Bits with each subsequent spin. After each spin, the rewarded item is removed from the list.
However, at 5 spins (at a price of 25 Key Bits), the item list is locked and no more items are removed. The spin price will remain at 25 Key Bits but no more items will be removed. View the video below to see how this works: https://youtu.be/AO-Mu1udUYU
MC SHOP
Now let’s move on to the MC Shop!
The new Memory Cell currency comes into play when you receive items you already have from the Cyber Cases or the Inter Gate. You’ll receive MC when you get duplicate items. You can then head to the MC Shop to see the wide array of items for purchase.
The MC Shop only contains cosmetic items from the previous “season.” As of our March episode, the MC Shop will contain all skins from Season 0 (from before March 8).
We hope that our operatives enjoy the new Cyber Case system and the Inter Gate. This is just the first phase of the system and we’d love to hear your feedback on how to keep improving.
