Ah! I got ahead of myself and forgot to explain what I Want to Go Home is!

is a story I'm writing on AO3 that places the ISAT cast into the context of World War 1. While I hope to tidy everything up once it's all finished, that will have to wait until it's all finished!

A year behind enemy lines, Private Siffrin, Fourrier, Ms. Chevalier, Mme. Legionnaire, and Lt. Moineau prepare to face off against The King, who has waged war against Vaugarde for four years. Now, so close to the finish, Siffrin finds themself in a time loop. Aided by Tourist, a voice in the telegraph lines, they must decide what it is they truly want.

^_^ I update occasionally and am very happy with the setting! Boniface will get dashed to bits though so maybe be wary.

remember ☝️ the humans in isat are not colorblind, from what we can tell their eyes can biologically detect colors just fine, proven by the fact that they can see the "weird shade" when wishes break. if it was biological complete colorblindness they wouldn't be able to process that information. it's also not that the objects in their world just happen to be greyscale, because like. prisms would still work etc. they can detect color with external tools I think? that feels implied with the color theory books at least, it doesn't seem like color theory is based exclusively off of historical evidence. whatever is blocking their ability to see color is much more sinister (wishcraft). also we hc that odile is red/green colorblind but just has no way to know that like at all bc it's funny

hello isat fan. in front of you is an official ref of mirabelle chevalier. all you need to do is draw her correctly according to the ref without erasing her poc features. the drawing doesn't even need to be perfect. you have 15 minutes. if you fail to do this in time the saw trap goes off👍
