Pleasance is no longer open for applications and will continue as a closed/private group. Mysteries will still continue in a more intimate way between the admins and the members, to continue being a nice relaxing writing experience for the members.

the police has made a statement: after over week of careful research, the dark water origins seem to have been traced back to the lake. people have been asked to keep a safe distance from the lake and the park surrounding it till professionals have finished additional research.

as promised, a couple of events coming to you in february (and what to expect in march). participating is not mandatory, but can be fun for your characters and their interactions! read below to see what is in store (also keep your eyes out for the continuation of the november mystery!)

ALL-TIME DINER REOPENING (all of february)

the local diner has a new owner! from now till the end of february, free milkshakes every weekend for every new customer! come grab yours, you can choose between: banana, chocolate, matcha, and cinnamon. sojamilk and oatmilk available. 

VALENTINE’S DAY (the weekend of the 11th till the 14th)

valentine classics will be showing at the spotlight cinema: the notebook, isa pa with feelings, singin’ in the rain, and parineeta.

special valentine dinners are hoasted by all-time diner, reservation necessary. 

vinny’s deli sells roses and an assortment of pink and orange macrons. 

UPCOMING MAYOR ELECTIONS (15th of March)

jesse hancock’s four years as the mayor of pleasance are almost over, and while he’s been leading the town for two terms, he’s already shown interest in being re-elected. backed by businesses in town, it seems like just like four years ago, it may be an easy win.

two new candidates, kj wake and ajita tannu have signed up for the race, neither with any experience in the field or any government job under their belt. will they offer real competition?
