we're the pleiadesfolk, one of the authors of lipu linluwi pona or The Constant Companions Handbook, a guide to system discovery and plurality! you can find that handbook here: plurality.systems
this blog will be run by most of us — the Pleiadesfolk number 20 or so. our main's cryptically plural (we used toki pona to obscure the members of our system) but this blog would be openly plural. anyway, an introduction:
we are a 30+ year old transfem system that began syscovery in November 2025 (so yes we are young and new in syscovery terms).
we don't consider ourselves any form of traumagenic or endogenic; we just are. yes we have gone through trauma. no we don't owe you an explanation
we set up this sideblog because we had an inkling that we were going flood a lot of our main with plural stuff, and we thought keeping things separate would be great since searching the main (which has an exceptionally long queue and sometimes really disorganised tag system *eyes Riley*) would be tedious
the pleiadesfolk number 20 or so (we have 30 proxies; some of them represent a gestalt state, while others are inactive or dormant members)
Riley, our foxgirl, is the primary social fronter (or, sometimes, "host"). She is a trinary median subsystem — with Riley Grey and Riley Maia.
She's joined with Merope, the secondary social fronter and defender, Lyra, the creative workmoder who writes fiction, Caitlyn, the other workmoder who fiddles with code/data/writes non-fiction, Selene, the primary defender and crisis handler, Kimberly, a fictive that's a secondary workmoder, Ryn, another fictive that dealt with much of lipu linluwi pona's code, Pleione, the positive voice and the internal systems helper, Artemis, the external perception program and an operator, T'lyn, the internal perception program, Helvetica, the interest-holder and Halcyone, a defender and anger-holder, among others.
half of the Pleiadesfolk stay in the Lighthouse, a tall, seven-storey structure on a cliff. at the rear of the Lighthouse is a forest, and beyond that are mountains and lakes; in the distance on the shore is the City of the Pleiadesfolk, where the other Pleiadesfolk reside.
all the Pleiadesfolk share the body name as a last name; i.e. Riley, as a median subsystem, is called Riley Llewellyn Ellis. but for all intents and purposes, Riley's just Riley.
we find it hard to use tumblr's colour-coding, so we probably won't do it all the time! there is a pattern to our colour-coding, however; it's similar to that on the chart that we've made.
we're pro-endo and anti-discourse. honestly we're just saying this as a ward i think. our mental health's kinda ass.
