So. I have pneumonia again. No working laptop. Two and half weeks to write my thesis or delay my graduation until next autumn. Cancelled two dates with a person who might be something very serious and now thinks I’m flakier than sunburn. Not to mention the family crazy hitting Pletzel towers.

This year is basically a one-way exercise in fucking me over. And I’m not going to bend down and take it. I’m going to get my hair done tomorrow, go on my date this Friday, and pull a barely-legible thesis that’s just good enough to pass out of my flabby butt. So there.

The "something very serious" turned out to be a two month relationship that ended amicably in a new strong friendship, my thesis got an 89, and my hair looks fucking awesome. I'm three weeks into my first big girl RN job and loving it, and I'm on meds that have made me more stable than I've been in years.

It's amazing how ten weeks can change everything.
