SO, some neato shit that that I wanted to point out...
So as everyone is so very exited about the new animated short, I FINALLY stopped crying long after to look around to see what people thought of the short.
And one thing that i saw being brought up enough times was that how fast Mei seemed to pick herself up after finding out her team was dead. Like wow she was barely fazed about it and har har she really is satan!
For starters, shut your mouth.
And second, please go watch that scene again.
A lot of people seem to have missed it the first time for one reason or another, me because I was sobbing uncontrollably, but there’s a passage of time.
Now I don’t know how realistic this was because Antarctica day/night cycles are fuckin weird can apparently last months, but you can see that the lighting around her does change and with a change in light comes a change in shadows.
My point is, she didn’t just sit down for 5 seconds before she moved on with her life. She sat there. For hours. I’d even argue almost a day.
What else was she supposed to do? She didn’t believe this was happening. Yeah she was dealt a pretty dark hand but she got back up and decided to live. As well as bringing exactly what her and her team were working on to the world where its needed.
Anyways back to crying.
