already the rito is pulling arrows from his quiver to offer to the girl --- --- not that he expects much in return . despite his haughty disposition , he is more than willing to help out those in need , if not indirectly . in showing his exasperation for the whole ordeal , wings are sliding the arrows into the hylian’s quiver before she has a say about it . better to be prepared than not due to not being able to find a suitable trade .
“ i don’t require anything in return , if anything ,you’ve given me my practice for the day so with that , i thank you . ” with a bit of dramatic flair, revali offers the girl a bow , one wing pressed against his chest while the other swung out wide . “ though i suppose you could do me a favor. i need to catch my bearings , and while i could just take to the skies , i figure it be best if i also learn the roads down below . if you had a map , i’d be most appreciative . other than that, you may keep your milk for someone else . ”

In tandem to a soft sigh a pale blue light envelopes her scarlet hand. “I must thank you,” she glances up at him. “For being cooperative. if he could , wings most certainly would’ve folded over his chest to show his defiance over being ... well ... compliant . surely even he understood when too much was too much and he needed help .

a couple beats pass before tense shoulders relax , and out - casted look finally returns to that of hers ; smile suddenly turning sullen . “ you’re welcome , ” revali replies , uncharacteristically soft , “ although i should be the one thanking you for healing me in the first place . ” the rito finds his arrogance misplaced around the zora , so he tries oh so hard to calm his fiery temper .
