Pregnancy Ups & Downs V1.3

Note: It's important to take care of your pregnant sims since early pregnancy will be harder on them.

Sims will now pay $5500 for Childbirth Expenses when they give birth. The cost will be added to their Unpaid bills if they don’t have enough money.

Negative and positive birth experience depending on mood.

Medical Advice: All Pregnant Sims including NPC can autonomously get medical advice at the hospital. Send your pregnant sim to visit the hospital and they will get medical advice after visiting.

Sims who are family oriented will more likely get medical advice.

Sims will stay at the hospital for 2 hours.

You will get to choose the baby’s traits when you get medical advice at the hospital because it will increase the chance of having a smooth pregnancy. (this is not always guaranteed because you have to take care of pregnant sims) negative traits might outweigh positive traits.

Spa: All sims including NPC can autonomously get massages at the spa which can help relieve backache. Send your pregnant sim to visit the spa and they will get a massage after visiting.

Pregnancy Tracking:

Sims are in the second trimester when a timer is being shown on the pregnancy buff. (default pregnancy length)

Sims are in the third trimester when the timer is no longer showing on the pregnancy buff. (default pregnancy length)

Pregnancy:

Pregnant sims are now moody.

New pregnancy buff.

Pregnancy is now uncomfortable for sims which will decrease mood by -10.

Nauseous:

Pregnant sims will experience more nausea as a downside of early pregnancy.

Pregnant sims will vomit more frequently as a downside of early pregnancy.

Sims may or may not accept romance when nauseous.

Nausea will decrease mood.

Backache:

Sims have a 100% chance of getting a backache.

Backache can be eased for 3 hours after getting a massage.

Sims may or may not accept romance while having backache.

Backache Will decrease mood by -20

(Sims who were already pregnant before adding this mod won't get mixed feelings)

Anxiously Expecting:

Sims who are anxious about their pregnancy will now have a chance of rejecting romance and socials.

Sims will feel anxious about their pregnancy if they have one of these negative traits.

(Dislike Children, Neurotic, Grumpy, Brooding, Commitment issues, Evil, Daredevil, Rebellious, Unstable, Insane, Coward, Absent-minded, Loner, Unlucky, overly emotional) Negative traits might outweigh positive traits.

Sims will be stressed, and their mood will decrease by -60

Eagerly Expecting:

Sims who are eagerly expecting will more likely be social and romantic.

Sims will be happy and their mood will increase by +50.

Sims will be eagerly expecting if they have one of these Positive traits.

(Excitable, Nurturing, Family Oriented, Hopelessly Romantic, Brave, Lucky, Disciplined, Friendly, Good, Social Butterfly, Overly Emotional, Easily Impressed)

More Negative Moodlets:

Negative Buffs will decrease mood by -30 or -50.

Note: You can use any pregnancy length since all pregnancy related buffs will be removed after sim gives birth.

More Negative Moodlets ranging from -30 to -50.

Conflicts:

This mod will conflict with any mod that modifies the default bufflist. (not custom bufflist).

More goodies I converted in my wedding prep blackout.

It's been so long since I converted these, I cant remember if I made them recolorable but if not, they should all have multiple presets. Most have custom thums. The necklaces are not morphed bc I was a bit lazy with these, sorry.

The August '25 and Orias necklaces are high-poly at 9.5k, and the Orias earrings are on the higher side at 5k poly. The rest range from 744-about 3.6k. The polycounts for each item are listed in the file name.

Credits to the following creators: Glitterberrysims, Bradford, Rimings, Sugarowlsims, and Guilettasims. I simply converted these to ts3.
