This is the blog for Plushie Mimic, another joke character from roleplay shenanigans.

Plushie Mimic is a "member" of the Shie Hassakai, as he was created when Mimic used his Quirk on a Plague Doctor plushie for infiltration/surveillance purposes.

However, in a freak twist of fate, Mimic was unable to recall his Quirk from the plushie, and thus the plushie was granted sentience/sapience.

And he has since decided to use that gift to be a loveable, cuddly, unhinged menace. (Because the mun/mod cannot create a hinged character to save her life apparently.)

For what was likely the tenth time or so since Chisaki had begun cooperating with Overhaul, he found himself standing there to simply watch the plushie scurry about the place.

Not only did the critter present a fascinating mystery to the world of quirk science, but it's uniquely small and non-biological form surely had some other uses ...

[ The plushie was busy cleaning, squeezing into tight corners that traditional cleaning methods (sponges, mops, washcloths, etc) had difficulty getting into and maneuvering in to effectively clean. He appeared to be humming happily as he worked. ]

"I think that mostly depends on what you need me for and for how long." The plushie said. "However, he also doesn't keep too close of tabs on me."

Chisaki cleared his throat and crossed his arms, trying hard to maintain some semblance of professionalism despite the fact that he was about to ask a plushie for a favor.

A piece of fabric got torn in my washing machine, and at least one scrap is still stuck in there.

Now, obviously, I could deconstruct the entire machine in an instant, but I don't like unpleasant surprises when using my quirk, and I'm not certain the laundry drum is as clean on the outside as inside.

Chisaki figured because the plushie liked being clean and didn't breathe, perhaps it could help him out around his sterile apartment without bringing more germs in.

Will I get to ride in the water merry-go-round after we fix it?

Chisaki gave the plushie a lift to his apartment. The drive through the city in his van was quiet as usual.

After a while, they arrived at Chisaki's basement apartment. Beyond the entrance door lay the genkan, which was outfitted with an industrial-grade hand sanitizer, a coat rack, a trash bin and a light-proof curtain blocking the immediate access to the living room.

Chisaki went through his usual ritual - leaving the jacket, the shoes, tossing his gloves, disinfecting his hands. He stopped at removing his mask, choosing to take care of the plushie first instead.

With a disinfectant spray in hand, he bowed down to the little critter.

Do you mind?

[The plushie was almost vibrating with excitement the entire ride over. He loved cleaning. Unusual for a plushie, but he wasn't exactly a normal plushie.

When they got to the base, he hopped out and waddled over to the entrance, where he waited for Chisaki to complete his ritual and then grant him permission to enter.]

"Not at all! My boss man disinfects me all the time!"

Chisaki covered him top to bottom in a fine mist of the solution, practically giving him a shower. He'd figured he might as well be thorough seeing how small the plushie was.

There. That should do it.

Irrational though the plushie might be, for acting so cheerful about something even Chisaki himself considered a chore, Chisaki couldn't help but find the complete lack of backtalk refreshing.

Come on in.

He pulled the curtain aside. The genkan opened up into the living room - a very small living room. What the apartment lacked in space, however, it made up for in tidiness and order. Documents, folders and cleaning supplies sat neatly stacked in all corners. The only items not directly related to his work were Chisaki's shogi set and the books on the shelf over the couch.

[The plushie beamed with pride as he was showered in the disinfectant.

Upon entering the apartment, he glanced around from where he stood, not going further than where he was permitted.]

"Oh, you play Shogi too!"

After another moment of hesitation, Chisaki removed his mask. There was no more logical reason why he should be wearing it inside his own apartment.

Let me guess: Overhaul also likes the game?
