The community for collectors
I had collected plushies for most of my childhood up into my high school years, but then one day I lost most of them to an accidental thriftstore donation. It really bummed me out, so I had stopped collecting plushies for years.
Now here I am, married, with two kids, and I'm getting back into the hobby again, starting a whole new plush collection pretty much from scratch.
The one plushie I have left from my original collection is this magenta Renaissance Dragon from Manhattan Toy, my beloved Dante (on the left next to my giant white ARELUX dragon, Falkor).
I collect whatever I find to be especially cute or interesting, especially Jellycat, GUND bears, Mary Meyer, Douglas, and Wild Republic.
I tag my own photos of my own plushies as #my irl plushies and individual plushies by the same except followed by a colon and the plushie's name, and my photos of my children's plushies as #my kids' plushies
No DNI, if there's an issue we block each other like civilized people.
Assume that all of my personal GUND plushies and Squishmallows/Kellytoys/BumBumz/etc were bought before the Jazwares and Spin Master boycotts or purchased second-hand. I will still post stock photos and other people's photos of Squishmallows and GUND plushies, but I am no longer giving those companies my money.
