Bought this lad from the Charlie Bears site (US) upon his release. I haven’t seen many posts on the Bearhouse Gargoyles (or any, for that matter), so I’m going to try my best to review him.

Name: Gilbert (OG name was Spires)

Firstly, Gilbert here is very soft— like wow, this was expected, but I didn’t expect him to be soft to the point where I completely ignore all my Jellycats, Build a Bears, Webkinz, and minky-made plush to snuggle only Gilbert.

I love Gilbert’s design despite his lack of a tail. He is perfection in my eyes, and this is coming from someone who owns two Killstar Gargoyles and one BAB Gargoyle. Plus his little eyelids give him an overall bashful look (fits the personality I gave Gilbert to a T).

He’s so floppy!! I could carry him in my arms like a proper plush, as he’s not stuck in one forced position or ‘stiff’. Beautiful— outstanding, would carry Gilbert to the moon if I let myself do so.

A very wonderful plush. I love him. 🥺❤️
