What is a boho wedding, and boho wedding dress?

Because of the recent crazy weather and our shelter-in-place-lifestyle of 2021, there is a report currently making its way throughout the media of another version of the World War II baby boom in progress. So my prediction ( and you heard it here first) is that once all the shelter in place restrictions are lifted and weather patterns return to normal there will be an equally loud marriage/wedding Boom!

When you hear the word Boho shot for Bohemian, wedding you just know the bride is someone who is mother-nature-inspired and her wedding dress style will probably be something in a rustic, loose-fitting fabric, rather than the more structured style of wedding dress. She will embrace and want to surround her free spirit with a laid back yet beautiful wedding dress design that expresses her unique personality. 

 She’s looking for a gown that is thoughtfully designed with character. A boho wedding dress that is all about comfort and effortless style. She will want to move freely, even if her boho dress is maternity style so that she can dance the night away. Personally, there is a distinctively soft earthy, inspired by nature, feel to a beautiful outdoor bohemian style wedding.

The greenery, the flowers, and sometimes the braids in the bride’s hair, she may also choose the soft waves, and long hair looks for her bohemian style marriage ceremony. To me most bohemian weddings remind me of the mystical pages from a book about the enchanted woodlands.  Kind of like the enchanted woodlands where the animated movie character, Shrek lives, only minus the swamp.

Since I used the word rustic in this post about boho wedding style let me point out that there is a marked difference between the two marriage ceremony styles the rustic wedding style is also very natural with lots of outdoorsy organic elements but the bohemian style wedding is more alternative, free-spirited, and eclectic. Wedding, and party planners, prepare yourself for the great wedding boom of 2021, it’s a-comin’ and I believe this boom will out do the great toilet paper shortage of 2020.

What’s the length of your torso in relation to your height and the length of your legs? These are all the things we consider when selecting clothing choices for your size.

The thing to keep in mind is that some style rules apply to different body types, we offer tips, and little fashion secrets style rules you can use that will take your curvy girl outfit from kind-of-okay, to a solid---that’s-what-um-talkin’ about!

Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with little accessory elements that can create a pleasing illusion around your curvy girl features, and draw attention. Dare to be brave with clothing items that were not necessarily meant for a full figure woman. Something that is not only accommodating but figure-shaping. You’ll be surprised at the outfit combinations that will work, program yourself to think that all styles are accessible to you.

No matter what your body type confidence is one of the most important feelings you can have in your outfit choice. A Brief History Of Body Image In America

Victoria’s Secret models weren’t the pinnacle of sexy at the turn of the century; here’s how body image in the U.S. has changed over time.

The Rubenesque Women throughout history and body image, in general, is the topic of this post. There are a lot of people, especially in the fashion industry, that seems to be obsessed with thinness, reflecting how over the years both the female and the male body image have gone thought a major slim down and coloring, (from Pale to Tan) and from being not so slim and healthy, to overly slim and healthy. I believe that if you are making clothes to sell to all women, then you really should find a way to include “all women” in the body image you sell as well, and that would include, my favorite, the curvy girl. A process I have to admit I see happening more-so today than at other times. Kind of like getting away from the slim and only media women’s body type to a more all-inclusive full-figured women body types, or at least as many different women’s body types as possible when we’re talking about adding new clothes to a woman’s closet.
