OH MY STARS, 10 YEARS?? A WHOLE DECADE?? I can't believe it's already been 63 Bortronian years. Looks like the future really got here here fast! Huh? 💙

Oh boy, my Earthie brain still can’t comprehend the fact that it’s been exactly 10 whole years since ‘Ready Jet Go!’ first came out. I was there for when the seriees first premiered, and when it ended at the Space Camp mov. I remember I would always change the channel right to PBS Kids as soon as I would come home from school and o’corse RJG was one of the many shows that came on. Despite being there for the show’s release I didn’t actually get really into the series until near the end of 2020 after deciding to check it out again, because some friends kept bringing it up. Ever since then I’ve been really hooked onto the series. This show holds a special place in my heart, and has been my top 1 favorite/comfort show, and Jet himself has been my absolute favorite character for about 5 years now. I learned a lot from this series, way more than what school has ever taught me TBH. Astronomy is such a really fascinating concept and I wished the show could’ve gotten a chance to cover more of it. Anyways I really love this show. I love the characters, I love the humor, I love drawing fan art, and I love the songs. I’m not joking when I say that I have all the songs memorized by heart. They’re so catchy and upbeat I can’t help myself. 😭 This show generally makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face every time I watch it.

I’d like to thank all my Earthie friends who live on your planet. This show’s fandom is so nice, and I know that’s pretty rare for fandoms. And for the people who helped bring this show to life you all did an amazingly coolsome job. <3

Taught me so much, came up with the most fun and cute headcanons, and met and strengthened my bond with great people!! Happy 10th anniversary to my favorite cartoon ever made, Ready Jet Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show meant so much to me and was a huge comfort show for me in fifth grade, and even though it's over, it still means so much to me now. It taught me so much about astronomy, things I never learned in school, but it also gave me catchy songs and lovable, brilliantly-written characters I really connected with. I decided to draw all the name characters together, this art took a long time, but it was worth it. Several of these characters I haven't drawn before.

I have not used Tumblr, or really, social media in general in three years. I have decided to make a brief return to this blog. why? it's the 10th anniversary of ready jet go!

even though the show is over, it's still very dear to me. I'm very pleased that the fandom has grown so much.

for the record, I was the one responsible for putting the show everywhere on tv tropes, because I wanted everyone to know about the show. I was excelsior123. I also created all the subpages for it, including the deleted ones. I was trying to shoehorn the show into all the subpages, because I thought all the popular shows had a lot of subpages. but it didn't work. the show isn't actually scary or secretly for adults. it's a light-hearted kids show, and that's what's great about it.

I wish people didn't make fun of the show so much or beat dead horses. people are just so cynical and mean on the internet, and they hate autistic people and people with any sense of whimsy and childlike wonder.

I deleted my tvt account in 2022 because of me being attacked and stalked, and I left the internet because of college. in reality, college isn't as time-consuming as I thought it would be. I just couldn't bear to go back to social media as a result of what happened.

but still, it warms my heart to see people still appreciating the show. also, I never gave my thoughts on space camp. I loved the movie! happy 10th anniversary to the show
