(So basically for context, after Jet risked his own life to save Mitchell's, he go to check up on him. However Mitchell thinks that this was just another apart of 'Jet's evil alien plan'. He thinks Jet created the Darkness and use it 'to turn everyone into aliens' and 'takeover the planet'. Leaving him to also believe that Jet doesn't actually give a sh!t about him. That the 'only reason' Jet saved him was so that he could gang his trust and backstab him later because 'he knows way too much'. Causing Mitchell to snap at Jet, not realizing he's got it all wrong.)

'Jet was having a really hard time fending Cody off. Then out of nowhere Cody than swung his claws right over Jet’s eye, leaving a huge scar. Jet felt a very sharp pain. Before he knew it he had his own blood on his hands. He then froze in shocked. He’s never seen his own blood before.'
