thinking about Vi trying to heal her fucked up relationship with food when she starts living with Caitlyn. At dinners she scarfs everything down as quickly as possible. As the other stressors in her life dim down she starts to notice her basic biological needs screaming at her, 'will we get more food again?', 'when's the next time we're getting food?', 'when's the next time Powder's getting fed?'. At first Caitlyn just sees it as Vi being Vi, I mean she's very physically active so of course she has to eat a lot. But then even as Vi stops having to fight so much she'll still eat whenever food is available (which is now almost always). Slowly Cait starts to notice the slightly scared look in her eyes when she finishes her meal, how if a server tries to take her food away early that panic flashes through her body for a second.
Vi being so stuck in a constant state of fight of flight that when there's no obvious threat she starts hoarding things, food, money, clothes, anything she might need if things get bad again.
Caitlyn eventually finding these stashes and soothing Vi while they slowly put them all back.
Vi whispering, "This food could've fed me for weeks, and you didn't even notice it was gone"
Eventually Cait helps her work through most of her food stress but she'll still occasionally find her binging in the kitchen after a bad nightmare of a panic attack
And also Vi getting used to the look of a body that isn't constantly malnourished. Her getting used to not having a defined jaw line and the look of her abs being hidden by her body fat. Caitlyn always reassuring her that she's just as attractive as before even if Vi doesn't always see it
