Silly little scrapbook page of Thorne and Sidney on a trip at the park without Serenity. The sim Lore is Thorne is kind of a douche who is faking his celebrity status using his wife's skills, but he does actually have only slightly less musical skill than she has writing skills so idk, how did he even become famous anyways? He has a good relationship with Sidney at least and I'm surprised she inherited his genetics when dark hair is so prevelant in my sims. I think she's going to be a really fun sim for generation 3 despite all the childhood trauma. Since Thorne actually seems to be a good dad I think I might have his son "Orange" come live with us too as Serenity's teen step-son, which should make for an interesting mix! Spoiler alert, he does in fact already hate her haha.
Changing up how I tell this story a little as the opportunity was rather good in-game and worked with all my head canon about the situation. Sidney's age up birthday is the first time Thorne has held her and acknowleged her and, unlike his son, Sidney is the spitting image of him with blonde hair and tanned skin. We're going to ignore he likely dyes his hair because so does the game genetics. They were just adorable together, and meanwhile as father and daughter bond, Serenity is over on the PC just working on her own fame. I convinced Thorne to leave his wife a while ago, but they were still living in the same home and Thorne was too depressed about the whole situation to cheer up and propose to Serenity. Serenity has been laying it on THICK trying to make him happy enough to get engaged again, and his little sad moodlet happened to disappear today so I finally got the propose option at this perfect time! Get ready to turn this mistress into a wife.
The one and only Gen 3 heir is now a toddler, she grew up well enough, though her cheeks and nose concern me a little bit. All the same I hope she'll grow into them. Sidney had the sunny infant trait absolutely wasted on Serenity and as a toddler is independant, no shocker there. She also inherited the poor childhood memory/trait, which I'm sure won't come back to bite anyone. Thorne finally held his daughter properly, he just couldn't bring himself to do it while she was an infant. They're so cute together I was instantly charmed by them and I hope maybe Thorne can become the dad she needs while Serenity isn't around. Who can say?
Straight off the back of a level 5 promotion, Serenity got to work trying convince Thorne to finally leave his wife and son in order to provide for Sidney and herself. This however did not go in Serenity's favour and Thorne left with a worse off impression of his mistress than he had when he first arrived at the apartment. Sidney does have a half brother though, in Thorne's other child. some I hadn't realised Serenity and her brothers also do via Gunther. But well...let's just say some quick cheats made it so the other munc family members never existed haha. Oops. At least this time my would-be-heiress knows she's breaking up a family!
In a blast from the past, Alexander Goth, Serenity's childhood friend from before she became a fame chasing gold digger showed up to meet Sidney, and Serenity almost became like her old self despite all the grime and grit. I shipped these two back when they were both children and seeing them like this with Sidney made me almost want to drop Thorne like a hot iron and hitch these two together. Alas, challenges need to be finished and poor Alexander still lives back in Willow Creek while Serenity has moved to the big city. Maybe her heart might want it, but her head can't abide. There's always stranger things going on in the sim universe however, so it might not be the last we hear of this couple and their far fetched dreams outside of a legacy.
Serenity introduced Thorne to his daughter, Sidney. Sidney takes after Thorne wildly, which I wasn't expecting! The blonde hair and the mixed darker skin might grow up to look very valley-girl, which is great for the next generation. Sadly Little Sidney doesn't spend much time with her mother and this is one of the few pictures of Serenity caring much, as she usually calls a nanny. Mostly it's sad for me, as Serenity is the opposite of her parents and therefore doesn't take too many photos of her little one, which means no walls of images!
It's probably worthwhile showcasing off that, with a new and famous baby daddy, Serenity got upgraded to a new and less scuffed apartment all on her own without a roomate - convenient! The amenities are still wanting, as per the orange and cracked fridge, but it's bigger, there's an unpictured and unfurnished nursey, and a main bathroom alongside an ensuite. It could be a much nicer apartment if it was better furnished but Serenity doesn't much have the patience for such things and is in a rush to keep moving up in the world despite her low status. So far, apartment living hasn't really added much to my gameplay besides some noisy neighburs and the convieience of having someone across the hall to chat with. The community noticeboard is a unique little feature but I feel like being a tenant in 'for rent' might be a better' experience from a gameplay perspective. Which is what this challenge is all about! Maybe in the next place I'll through a proper party?
Romance with a mistress inevitably leads to only one thing Thorne, much to Serenity's delight. She's now got claim to the family money name. This might be the most amount of attention the little one gets from Serenity though, and I feel for the kid who is going to be living in the shadow of his famous style influencer mother for the rest of their life. Born into the poorest apartment the city can offer, at least you'll get your own room one day kiddo.
I'll miss the sweet little serenity that went from a rambunctious scout to a jaded teen Llamacorn. In another universe I might play with her again and give her a better life with a different heir, because she really was a favourite. New and "improved" Serenity" wasted no time in setting her sights on married Thorne Bailey, seducing him and starting an affair with the A-lister. I sort of feel like there's more of a mistress situation going on than true love and Serenity is keen to get her hands onto a big name bread winner. It's definitely not the sweet romance of her parents that's for sure! Thorne seems nice, if a bit clueless. I'm not sure what fate will make of these two together.
I feel like My previous pictures made this little apartment look more glamorous than it is, so make no mistake! Serenity is dealing with mice, bats, electricity dangers and repairmen all in her first week of living here!
While her mother, Lexi, may have had a little townhouse, Serenity has a small student apartment in downtown San Myushuno. It's not glamorous yet but she has big dreams to fill, and an even bigger apartment she wants to live in! It's just like the start of every sitcom, and she's the main character!
GENERATION 2.
Generation 1 is now finished with all goals completed! I'll miss the gang but onto our next pack, Get Together! Serenity ( to no shock ) is the heir for our next generation.
Networking, and ticking a generation goal off all in one party. This is the Packs family Silver rated weenie roast ( see amendments for challenges ).
Rowan & River Grew up! Green is the ever rambunctious River and glasses is the disciplined Rowan. Twins who are so similar, but so different in other ways!
Rowan & River both made Llamacorn, so every child is now eligible as an heir. Serenity, the teen she is, is very over the whole scouts thing by now.
