Hey, it's Keith from the Dallas branch. I had a question for Harrison. So I know you said you're psychic right? And you get headaches from it? I think I might be going through something similar.
Ever since our IDTS blew up, I've been hearing voices that aren't mine. It seems that I can hear and communicate with ghosts without a spirit box now. Even lesser powered ghosts that are really only echoes of spirits and such.
My grandmother was a real psychic back in her day, and I'm starting to suspect that might have something to do with it. I think being exposed to such a high level of PK Energy must have unlocked some dormant ability. Anyway, I have a splitting headache and not even prescription strength ibuprofen is helping to alleviate it. I thought I'd reach out to you for help because I know this is an every day thing for you.
Thanks,
-Keith (@dallas-ghostbusters)
hey, man, harrison here :)
i'm... really sorry to hear you're dealing with that :/ it's a power that comes with its ups and downs.
...more downs than ups, tbh.
ive heard of psychic powers being passed down, and the increase in PK energy could for SURE trigger them, especially if they were dormant. (im pretty sure the increase in energy is why Ty showed up, and why he's being MORE ANNOYING THAN USUAL) (he's reading this over my shoulder i can TELL).
what ive found helps is either a LOT of stimulation (loud, fast music, any show or movie with lots of action and things happening, doing a project with your hands basically anything that floods your brain and drowns the voices out), or a lack of stimulation (ambient music, turning the lights off, white noise, just generally blocking EVERYTHING out).
it also helps to get outta the firehouse and go do something ! go to an art exhibit or museum or something. go get lunch with... idk, either yourself or with someone ! anything to take your mind off of it and think about something else for a bit.
ibuprofen and other regular fixes for headaches don't seem to work very well on psychic headaches, unfortunately, but they do help a bit. just drink some water and rest.
it gets a little easier, i promise. it'll never fully go away, but it gets... easier.
i'm really sorry youre having to deal with this. keep me updated if you can.
you're, uh, not alone in this.
