If you guys knew nothing about Jojo and I told you that two of these 3 characters are the same person, who would you think I was talking about
Every time I see Ciccolata (the character from Jojo) I'm reminded of this guy from my friend's native town (classic Twin Peaks-like small ass town in the middle of the Asscrack Mountains in Southern Italy) whose nickname is actually Cioccolata, and who I naturally imagine with the appearance of the jjba character. Which would already be funny, but there is actually more to the story, because this dude lives in this old ass hoarder house with his brother and his ancient bedridden mother, and, apparently, he has an hidden trapdoor under a rug right before the entrance???
Like, as the story goes, my friend's uncle one day went there because he is acquainted with the mother and wanted to say hi. After he did what he had to do, he was going his merry way out the house when Cioccolata fucking screams "NO! DON'T GO THERE!!!".
My friend's uncle naturally stops in his tracks, confused, and long story short Cioccolata and his brother (who I can only assume is Secco) move the rug he was going to walk right on and show him this really big hole that goes straight into an endless abyss (like, he couldn't see the bottom???).
Now, I feel like it's important to tell you guys that my friend's uncle has an appearance and a vibe which I can only describe as akin to one of those friendly chubby raccoons from kids fairy tales. Therefore, clearly the only explanation possibile is that the irl Cioccolata (and his brother) actually use that trapdoor to kidnap and kill whoever enters their house, but they saw this man who looked like he baked sweet treats with the creatures of the forest and lived in a empty tree in the magical woods and couldn't bring themselves to do that to him too.
So... I bought a bruabba keychain for the bag I usually wear when I go out, but... uh...
I'm starting to think I didn't think this through
I'm saying this in the most "I love him anyway" way possible, but are you really telling me that Risotto Nero, besides having white hair and red eyes with BLACK sclera, being called Risotto Nero, dressing like some sort of goth jester, having become a hitman for the mafia after the trauma™ of having seen his cousin being killed by a drunk driver, also has the power of turning the iron in a person's blood into fucking razor blades.
Is he a goddamn deviantart OC
I feel for Fugo. Dude probably bought that strawberry tie one afternoon in a shop where bombarded of stimuli from all sides, he really wasn't thinking straight (not like I'm talking from experience or anything) or, even more likely, Bucciarati gifted it to him, and yet for that the fandom decided he's a strawberry guy. Everything strawberry themed for him. Do we even know if he actually likes strawberries
im reading discworld and im on the third book and i only just realized they arent arranged like this
I've read many Jotaro Tells Giorno About Dio fics and every time I always yearn for a scene that goes like
Being from southern Italy while simultaneously being a jojo fan is the gift that keeps on giving
Me, about to make a joke: the sex pistols represent Mista's intrusive thoughts, lma-
*Remembers that Mista's fear and avoidance of the number 4 as a "magical number" and the pistols's refusal to give up their rituals (aka eating at specific times and then sleeping afterwards) can actually be interpreted as symptoms of OCD*
Me:
Me: oh my god, do they actually
I did this for the friend I watch jjba with to explain what, according to me (with the knowledge vested in me by being an Italian who lives near the Naples area and is deeply familiar with local family dynamics), were the dynamics in the gang, and decided it might be worth posting there.
Feat. my handy dandy translations (except bucciarati which I felt was pretty self explanatory)
*[documentary voice] "O' criatur" (literal translation: "the creature") can actually refer to any individual even up to the age of 30 as long as he's the youngest in the family, which Narancia isn't, but isn't he really?
heyy do you happen to have read the italian edition rive lontane. because i have been dying to ask someone how the language barrier between adam and the italians is handled
Hi! Yes I did. The italian edition actually just put all the italian lines between these signs: <> (no idea what they're called in English) to signal that they were in Italian in the original as well.
Like this:
A basic solution, but it does its job.
I was thinking about how I had never seen someone fumble so bad as Jules fumbled Eufrasio, but then I realized that Adam could've had two hot Italian men, and he fumbled both of them
have this comic strip where it's implied they slept together
Lol I knew I wasn't imagining things
I was thinking about how I had never seen someone fumble so bad as Jules fumbled Eufrasio, but then I realized that Adam could've had two hot Italian men, and he fumbled both of them
You've heard of the infamous failed "Let's go away together" trope in gay romances, but now get ready for its improved and 10 times more painful version: the failed "let's go away together trope" except the guy who didn't want to go is actually the only one who manages to after the other fucking dies.
JOTARO!! be nice to Star Platinum!!
Yesterday I was watching Clash and Talking Head when inspiration hit me like a vision from an angry god and I had this in front of me half an hour later
Has this been done yet? Probably, but whatever
Do y’all remember this part 4 episode?
Genuinely something that might've happened in this series
