Kinda lost my muse for Diane atm. I'm tempted to do a multichara oc blog based on three species of supernatural folklore from three different countries. What do you guys say? Should I go for it? I'm a sucker for mythology and folklore.

+ tumultuus tiptoed into an amber reality
Imogen shared the other’s annoyance, as this particular time of year was one that the Valkyrie despised. Crystalline optics locked onto the other’s gaze, nothing but a smirk appearing on Imogen’s lips.
"I’m not gonna ask you to wrap any presents." The words fell out in a mocking manner. There was a pause as Imogen’s eyes averted to the floor, before being brought back to the other.
"Why do you work here if you don’t like wrapping presents?" Imogen asked in a half-interested tone.
Diane almost snapped out a witty comment at the woman, but she resisted against it. It had been quite the eventful, long day for her, and getting in a quarrel with a mere stranger was just gonna make things worst. Instead, she simply let a heavy sigh escape her lips.
"Because of why people always look for in a job—money," She answered as she straightened herself up in her position. "Apparently, this is the worst time to look for a part-time job that doesn't evolve wrapping presents or bagging purchases." There was hints of regret and displeasure in her face.
Tilting her head to the side, she shrugged in a laid-back manner. "But I suppose beggars can't be chosen."
so, we lost someone today. some of you may know her as xdystropos, among others, and she was only part of our community for a short (and brutal, thanks to anons) amount of time, but.
she lost her battle against breast cancer this morning. her best friend, catherine, is running the blog and posting any nice things anyone wants to send into the blog. don’t hesitate to send something in.

“You’re looking a little pale there liebste”
Liebste? Well, that's a new one. "Do I? I probably need some sleep."
[ She looks over to the girl, a shocked look on her face. Slowly, she regains her composure. ]
“Uh, sure.”
[ She simply smirks at the girl's appalled reaction, backing up from her position to walk up to her. ]
So, what'cha got to decorate?
"Di! I finally saw that movie you were in. I finally understand your struggle... I'm ready for us to be friends now. " The goddess smiled. Extending Hey arms for a grand hug with her soon to be bestie.
The adolescent perks up upon hearing the lively, animated voice. She turns around to face the goddess, a bashful, yet radiant smile. Coffee brown hues soften as eyebrows rose. “You did? Well, now you know why I kept going on and on why the struggle was real.”
Diane is slightly taken aback by the arms pulling her close, but manages to hug her back, her slim form melting into the embrace. Well, this isn’t something she had expected. It’s been so long since she’s received a hug or even given one, for that matter.
"I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
"Well.. I knew the struggle was real before you kept yammering about it.. I’ve been living the struggle since aught.. aught aught… uh.. well since before you were born, shush.’ She smiled, resting her head against the woman’s. Nestling her closer and closer into this grand bond of unity.. and awesome.
"It had certainly better be a beautiful friendship.. because for the life of me, I can’t remember ever having spoken to you before right now.” Pulling herself free from the embrace of the brunette, she smiled, setting her hands to rest on her shoulders.
"In fact.. this is the first I’ve even seen your face.." Fun times with best friends.
She raised dark brows curiously, wondering to herself what the fellow girl truly meant. Nonetheless, the smile in her lips didn’t fade away as their heads laid against each other’s. The alternative-universe traveler could feel herself smitten. It had been so long since she has managed to be social and smoothly bond with someone. It felt epic, like she could live again. She hadn’t been this friendly since her earlier high school years.
"Oh? Is that so?" To be fair, she didn’t remember sharing a conversation or seeing the goddess’s face before, but she didn’t comment on that. She was having too much of a good time to replace it a storm of questions that could form in her mind about the girl. She nodded in understanding, offering a reassuring smirk. "That’s okay."
"We could always present ourselves and start from there," She offered, tilting her head to the side. "Even though you seem to know my name." Who knew, maybe this girl lived around here and they went to the same high school. Despite that, she wasn't overly concerned about the fact she knew her name, but recently saw her face.
+ dodecas tiptoed into an azure reality
It seemed the pale month had trouble watching where she were going when walking, chocolate hues almost always fixated to the floor while she walked. Pointless really, she didn’t even bother to count her steps or admire the crisp Winter leaves she found herself treading on. Once the fellow brunette spoke to her, she felt the vibe as if she was hiding from something — or someone. “Oh, I, okay.” she nods, brows furrowed slightly as she watches her walk away and then pause.
As January hoists her bag up to sit firmly on her shoulder, she can’t help but notice crimson liquid begin to trickle down her neck. It’s gone now, concealed by her russet waves but she unfroze herself from her spot in the middle of the deserted avenue. “Hey, you’re —” she stops herself, realising if she yelled out to the girl half-way up the street who most definitely didn’t want to be seen, she’d be defeating the purpose and ultimately defying her one request; no matter how out of the blue it may have seemed. Power walking up just behind her, she finishes her sentence. “— bleeding.”
Oh, the younger brunette was indeed hiding from someone. Someone who's face she wasn't familiar with, but that didn't make any sense, did it? How could she be running from someone she didn't know? You see, that was something she's asked herself since she started to get followed by this individual and its people. Then, things took a turn for the worse when different types of measures were taken to try to eliminate her—from trying to crash her car from behind in swarms of traffic to shooting her. And apparently, it was no different now.
For fuck's sake, she thought to herself, the fellow growing steps echoing against her eardrums. Didn't she hear a word she said before? Pretending she had didn't help the situation, considering that whoever was after her didn't care if she was among people or not. What if this girl was part of this stalker group? Diane mentally shook her head at the thought. No, she seemed too virtuous for such act. Then, she heard the last word the female uttered, shivering lightly at the dampness trickling down the back of her neck.
"—Oh..." That was all that left her lips as two fingertips reached for the origin of the moist, eyes widening as she gazed down at the crimson-soaked fingers. This was enough to make her legs to shake and nervously flick her eyes across her surroundings, fear struck across her dark features.

sleep
i woke up halfway through the night startled by the brushing of fictional fingertips. i stayed up all night wishing that next time they would be his.
whose words were those that woke me from my sleep? i looked around hoping they had been shaped by his lips.
i reach out to touch the matress yet his shape somehow remains. i cut myself open, for i fear he is in my veins.
