Penelope!Yuu, in the Octavinelle episode, trying to save her "friends" and Grim, accepts Azul's special challenge.
It's simple: find a golden shell hidden in the Coral Sea.
But it won't be easy; there's a time limit. If she doesn't find it within that time, she'll lose the challenge.
If she finds it within the time limit, she'll win and free her friends and herself. But if she loses, she'll have no choice but to give up the Ramshackle dormitory, and not only the dormitory, but it will also become Azul's property.
Accepting these conditions, she signs the contract. Azul gives her a potion that allows her to breathe underwater and tells her she must find the golden shell before sunset on the third day.
Yuu and the others prepare to search for the precious shell. On the third day, she and the others drank the potion, enduring the unpleasant taste, and once in the Coral Sea, they began their search. Penelope!Yuu separated from the group upon seeing something shiny in the distance.
Believing it was the shell, she continued approaching, but soon realized it wouldn't be easy. There were many obstacles to overcome, delaying her search.

She tried to grab it, but at that moment the potion's effect vanished (for her). Breathless, she made her way toward where she found a flat, level surface.
Upon reaching solid ground, she collapsed, gasping for air. When she finally calmed down, she realized that night was already falling; She had lost the challenge...
At that moment, she heard a familiar voice.
"As I told you, you had to find the golden shell before sunset on the third day."
Penelope!Yuu turned and saw Azul, smiling arrogantly. He knelt beside her and took her chin, bringing his face close to hers.

Penelope!Yuu stared at him, her gaze unfocused and her expression sad and pitiful.
"Ramshackle's dormitory belongs to me, as does its prefect."
She heard two people laughing loudly and turned toward the sound, finding Jade and Floyd staring at her.
That's when he understood everything. Azul had deceived him...
But there was nothing he could do. Sunset had passed, and now he would have to give up the only safe place he called "Dormitory," along with his freedom...
She simply turned to face him as he leaned closer.
Before he could kiss her, water splashed between them, separating them. A furious Azul glared at those responsible, seeing Jade and Floyd acting as if nothing had happened.
