“New?” She repeated, tilting her head to the side as she looked back at him. Jooyeon contemplated his request a bit as she pulled on a nearby apron, thinking of what could be delicious and easy for her to make at the time, she wasn’t feeling particularly diligent at the moment. “Oh!” She said suddenly, clapping her hands together in excitement. “Have you eaten Beef Kushiyaki yet? It’s really good, I made it a lot when I was in Japan. It’s fairly easy, and it’s delicious too.” Jooyeon nodded quickly, her bangs bouncing up and down as she did so, a bright smile on her face. But she paused, thinking of the essential Japanese seasoning that may or may not be in an average British kitchen. “Ah …but they don’t have Mirin here don’t they?” She asked with a frown, shoulders deflating immediately. Mirin is sweet Japanese wine, probably the last thing that could be found in the kitchens of Hogwarts. “Oh well …Yakisoba Chicken then?” She wondered vaguely if he already had that particular dish before, but decided to prep the chicken  anyway. Taking out the raw chicken and the seasonings out of the kitchen cupboards, Jooyeon proceeded to dice the chicken and roughly chop the garlic, cabbage and carrots. “Hey, are you gonna stay silent over there or are you gonna jabber along and not bore me?” Jooyeon called over her shoulder, absentmindedly flicking her hair out of her eyes.

Jihoon watched Jooyeon's eyes as she worked out what it was she would be cooking for him. She seemed completely focused in her thoughts. It was a face that he was very familiar with and it was nice to be able to see it again. When she had finally concluded on a dish, he grinned, not really hearing what it was called since he hadn't been listening. "Sounds great" He smiled, knowing that the next step would to be to go to the kitchens. It was usually frowned upon. Jihoon recalled one time in his 4th year when a teacher had berated him for bursting into the kitchens, saying that he was bothering the house elves as he worked. He had retorted that he hadn't burst in, merely stepped in and was greeted with waves upon waves of elves offering him food eagerly, but his professor had simply taken off more points for trying to contradict her. That incidence, as expected, had not deterred Jihoon from visiting the kitchens, so it was with a bounce in his step that he started down the familiar path to the portrait of the fruit bowl, the tapestry hiding the entrance to the kitchens behind it. The sound and sight that greeted him were ones he had been missing for over a year. He grinned brightly as he saw the familiar elves scrambling over themselves to bow to him and offer sweets. "It's nice to see you too" He chuckled to them, giving Jooyeon a wink as he waded in through the sea of creatures. "What kind of ingredients do you need?" He asked Jooyeon once he had finished greeting everyone and they had bustled off to continue the work that they had been doing before being interrupted.

raising her eyes to meet the boy’s in front of her, woori frowned immediately upon the sight. chin lifting from her palm to have her back align in a straight formation, arms therefore crossing in time with her legs to stare at the ravenclaw in front of her. “not so much as bored as i am annoyed now.” she spoke in reply, the answer common and otherwise predicted as she stared at the boy whom she never really found close enough to be called as friend, though in unison she had never found too much of a hassle to call too much of a bother. rolling her eyes once before dropping the glazed look upon her face to watch him with an act of nonchalance. “what do you want, pyo?”

Jihoon watched as she immediately took on a more rigid posture, abandoning the slouched position she had been using not more than a second before his arrival. He smirked quietly to himself, hitching his usual smile onto his face as he further approached the Slytherin girl. "Just here to deliver your daily dose of annoyance" He said, answering her question merely by using her own words to inspire his own. He wasn't sure what about him that annoyed the girl so much, but he had long since stopped caring; whatever it was, it was an issue with her, not him. Perhaps she was just a grumpy and irritable human being in general. "You know, if you keep making that face, it's gonna get suck" He added, nodding in her direction, pointedly at her current expression.
