Love the wolf 359 approach of getting rid of antagonists by introducing new, even more annoying antagonists. These antagonists are so annoying that the old antagonists join up with the protagonists to eliminate the annoyance. They ofcourse don't eliminate the annoyance before an even more annoying antagonist appears.

i do honestly love carson as a character because he's such a well-written despicable human being who manages to be both terrifyingly competent and charismatic yet utterly swagless. genuinely one of the most entertaining things about season 3 is that at any time while people are getting forced into missile silos and starting a worker's revolution after being told to cut their own throats to keep the power grid up and flaying themselves and their parents open at the dinner table to expose their childhood trauma you just know that the used car salesman in charge of the country is out there running people over in his cybertruck while crossfaded off the oxy that targets your ability to feel emotions.
