Happy fifth anniversary to Scaled and Icy! Had no clue what the blue dragon was on the cover of the album when it popped up in my notifications on Spotify, all those years ago. But 5 years later here I am, loving Trash the Dragon and the SAI era so very much! This is one of two pieces I made for the Scaled and Icy fifth anniversary collab over on Twitter. I was given the prompt "actor" which was perfect because I wanted to write from the perspective of Clancy and his role in "Good Day Dema." This edit is meant to go with my fic "Scaling Back to Morph" and the concept of twisted reflections haunting Clancy as he wakes from a dream. Inspired by Redecorate because I adore the song. The event was held by @kidzboppizza and @twiceasfar_!

When I'm in a "I wish we were childhood friends" competition and my opponents are twenty one pilots. Stressed out music video where they dress up as kids to reflect simpler times and go play at each others houses. Christmas saves the year cover where they bashed their childhood photos together to make it look like they've always known each other and were at one point opening presents together. Childhood videos playing at the 2026 AMAs while singing a song about how history and actions are traceable and the desire to be seen and known so thoroughly that a call for help will always be met with being found against all odds. I'm losing. Everyone is losing. They're doing it like no one else. These guys met in their early 20s btw.
