Finally 100% my first game, dredge, and loved it so much :)

One of the things that makes Dredge such a great game to me is the how the npcs seem more annoyed by the monsters in their backyards than scared of them. Like oh yeah. This one-eyed serpent is tunneling through our cliffs. Fuck that guy. Oh I was just minding my own business doing research and this fuckass tentacle monster emerged from the deep and attacked, and now I can't finish my research smh. Literal eldritch horrors outside and they react to it as though it were an unwanted beaver or other troublesome critter. An unknown horror from the depths of the sea will rear its ugly head and they're like damn, this will affect the trout population. I love every character in Dredge for this.

the marrows: yea just look out for spooky rocks and don't trust that boat you see at night gale cliffs: giant cyclops eel, you can outrun (outboat?) it stellar basin: tentacle bastard from hell, scare it back into its hole with loud noise twisted strand: these big worms will do actual psychic damage to you, luckily once that one guy gets his mortar he can fucking blow them to smithereens and they aren't a problem ever again devil's spine: let's kill this guy with mama
