25. Working three jobs in total, Shizune is trying to make ends meet after her beloved uncle, who helped financially, died from a doctor's miscalculation in surgery. Now the top doctor, she vows to make sure no one dies an accidental death in the hands of a doctor.

“Uh, yeah. My dad runs the Namikaze Kendō Dōjō, and I work there as one of the instructors. It’s nothing really.” He says, throwing his arm up behind his head in a slightly embarrassed gesture. “Haha, you should come by sometime and watch a lesson. Even if it’s not your thing, kendō  can be soothing to the mind even if your aim isn’t to be the very best. You don’t have to be a Pokemon Master, y’know? You could just be a trainer or a coordinator! Kendō is great.” Cheeks pink, he laughed a bit at his own pathetic Pokemon joke.

"Perhaps I could, can't promise anything though. My schedule is pretty hectic, but it sounds pretty cool." Shizune smiled, and everything she said was true. Between all her jobs and much needed sleep, there was hardly any spare time for her to spend. 

"But uh, how exactly does kendō work...? I've heard of it but I've never really paid much attention to it, you know?" Shizune felt silly and a tad embarrassed asking this and she sure hoped she didn't look or sound like an idiot.

“Ah,  Head Doctor? Well, I must be talking to the top doctor in Kazoku, then! Next time I get roughed up pretty bad, I’ll remember that.” He winked at her, his smile easy and natural. This nice guy side of him usually came naturally to him. He was in a sour mood because he would soon have to return home, but now he was better It might have something to do with the nice girl in front of him. But she was way older than him, and he knew it. He just liked being charming.

“I’m a kendō instructer at the local academy. And nah, you didn’t at all, Miss.”

"I uh..." Shizune honestly had no idea how to respond to the guy. She really didn't feel as if she was the top doctor in Kazoku. "I-- I guess so. But I hope you don't get hurt at all!" She smiled at him, attempting to break out of her shell.

Once the man said he was a kendō instructor, Shizune was immediately interested, resting her head on her hand. "Kendō instructor you say?"
