GUN • VS • NEEDLE After piercing some lobes on some lovely girls yesterday, and their shock to the lack of pain, I’m reminded that there are a few misconceptions that should be clarified. Where better than here, where 5000+ followers can read and share?! The reusable gun cannot be adequately sterilized to prevent spread of pathogens and other diseases. Furthermore, size of the instrument does not adapt or compensate for the varying degree of sizes of lobes out there. The mechanism itself can lock, and crush the tissue, in extreme situations, but more often than not it causes blunt-force-trauma. The needle is beveled (in other words, it’s reallllyyyyyy sharp) so as to glide through the tissue without struggle. Clamps hold the lobe in place, so there’s no worry of your ear being crushed by some cheap mechanism. All medical devices (needles, clamps, etc) used are one-time-use, eliminating any risk of cross contamination. Don’t be afraid of the needle!
