Tournaments must have the Pokemon franchise as the main focus in some way.

Tournaments do not need to be ongoing. Future and finished tournaments are also encouraged!

The Finals are tomorrow! Just two more matches before we finish this ridiculously long journey to determine all the best villains in the Pokémon series.

As one last reminder, the contestants in these matches represent specific versions of the Pokémon. You're not voting on Giratina as a Pokémon vs Dusknoir as a Pokémon, but the specific characters from their respective games. I just wanted to make sure that was clear before the final vote!

It's time for a new Round, and Round 2 starts on Saturday! With 16 contestants remaining (3 of which are Darkrai), it's all to play for- a spot in the Quarter Finals is at stake!

Do you think one of Ash's lesser known Pokémon deserves more love? Are you a hardcore Charizard or Pikachu fan who thinks the 'overrated' comments aren't justified? Do you think he should have caught that legendary Pokémon he bonded with in your favorite movie? Do you just like voting in polls and don't care about his Pokémon at all? Look no further!

Any Pokémon Ash has formed a bond with across the many years of anime and movies is on the table! My pinned post contains all Pokémon currently in the running, but if I've missed your favorite, just send in an ask or reply to the pinned post and I'll add them on. The tournament will begin sometime in late May, so you have plenty of time to get your nominees (and propaganda) in before the bracket is decided.

Thank you so much for your patience everyone, but we're finally back, and I'm glad to announce that the first matches for the Best Non-Human Villain Tournament start tomorrow! I have my laptop fixed again, and finally I've been able to finish preparations for the tournament.

As a reminder, this is what the bracket looks like, and we'll have 4 matches in the short Round 1 before all the rest of the contestants are introduced Round 2. I hope you're looking forward to it!

I appreciate your patience as I get Round 2 ready, and it's coming tomorrow! Here's where the big name main series teams will all be making their debuts, and I expect multiple close matches! How do you think it'll go?

Apologies for the small delay, but the Best Pokémon Villains Tournament continues! This time, it's the Organisations Bracket.

We have 19 groups to vote on, and they're all eager to be the best, but who will you be rooting for? Let's take a look at the bracket, because this time it's a little more interesting than just random seeding!

So as you can see, the Organisations have been deliberately seeded- how, you may ask? Well, I've taken the data from the first bracket, and ranked each Organisation's performance by how well the team's individuals did last time.

I used both average vote share and average vote total, giving each character a score, and then coming up with the average for all the members in their team. This should hopefully mean that the big hitters aren't going up against each other too quickly!

The one issue I had here was regarding Team Yell. No characters competed for them in the first bracket, so I had no data to work with. As such, I slotted them into the middle position, seed 10, because that felt the most fair.

With all that said, we have a short first Round this time, with all the worst performing teams going head to head across 3 matches. And we're starting on Wednesday!

Generation 7 has done ridiculously well, getting 3 of its representatives into the top 4 with Lusamine, Guzma, and Plumeria, and rounding out the roster is the one and only Miror B.- king of groove. It could go any way, and only your votes can determine which- so don't skip it!

And here's our Quarter Finals bracket! The number of competitors is down to a tiny 8, and they're all veterans of the vote at this point. Those that win this Round have a 3 in 4 shot at a podium position, so this is a very important one! Make sure to send in propaganada if you're desperate for your fave to make it through to the Semis.

And speaking of propaganda, I will now be reblogging propaganda included in any main body text reblogs! If it's just insulting one contestant though, I won't be sharing. I'll only be sharing positive propaganda!
