This blog serves as a talking blog for those who want to converse about Pokemon-related stuff of any kind! I have basic knowledge of pretty much any Pokemon media, so I’d be happy to chat :D

Genuine question, how could Moon and Platinum physically be sisters? They say repeatedly in DP arc that Platinum is the only daughter of the Berlitz family and timeline wise Moon would have already been born by the time that arc happens.

There’s a few things that point to Moon and Platinum being related in some way, like how they’re both from Sinnoh, how Moon calls a lady with long hair like Platinum’s and an Empoleon her sister (onee-sama), the fact that Moon is working alongside Professor Rowan and many of Mr. Berlitz’s associates, and how Moon and Platinum have similar designs.

As for the timeline, Moon would have to be at least 11 years younger than Platinum, as Platinum is 11 at the start of DPPT. However, considering the canonical timeline has 9 years passing from the start of RGB to the end of ORAS (which takes place before the start of DPPT), it’s not too unreasonable to assume a similar gap occurred between DPPT and SM, at which point Moon is freshly 11. It’s further supported by Blue appearing in his late 20s/early 30s (around the same age as Diantha) in XY, since Blue is roughly 9 years older than Platinum, which would put her in her late teens/early 20s by XY. And I don’t think the age gap between siblings is too unreasonable, considering my only sibling is 13 years my senior.

At the end of the day though, it’s just a neat headcanon I and many others have <3

Whisper was part of a mercenary group known as The Diamond Cutters during the war. She was the sniper of the group.

Mimic is an octopus and a shape shifter and was also part of the Diamond Cutters. Mimic sold the ground out to Eggman and led them to a trap where Shadow Androids (robots made to look and be similar to Shadow the Hedgehog) killed them.

Whisper, being the sniper, was outside and survived.

During her miniseries with Tangle the Lemur called "Tangle & Whisper", Whisper is very reluctant to allow Tangle to get close since Mimic is still actively after her (as she is a loose end and Eggman told him to get her as well since she got away). Tangle on the other hand, wants desperately to get close to Whisper and to help. Whisper by the end of it does end up trusting Tangle and her abilities and lowering some of her walls.

I feel like this could align with PokeSpe!Silver and PokeSpe!Gold. Silver is trying to fight the Masked Man and keep others (besides Green) away so they don't get hurt and involved as well. Gold on the other hand, by the time the Lake of Rage happens, is trying to help too and for moral reasons refuses to just walk away knowing what the Masked Man is doing.

I think PokeSpe!Silver would match up with Whisper the Wolf quite well.

Both of them keep themselves closed off, but less to keep themselves safe and more to keep others from getting hurt from the person from their past that is after them.

This one. I know what 'Pikachu otherkin Ash' means but I don't get the part before or the part after.

I believe the first part means Ash uses pika/pikas neopronouns, and the part after is Ash being referred to with those pronouns :D

People are liking an ask on the headcanons blog but I genuinely don't get what it is saying.

I understand about half of it, but I am stuck between two interpretations and one of the interpretations is that I just don't know half of their point.

other anon: I think the secret to liking Harley (as a certified Harley enjoyer) is not to get over his actions, because there's really no way around how much he sucks, but rather to go "yeah, he did all that and served the entire time 💅" tbh. Harley is irrevocably petty, mean, irrational, and he ate every time he was on screen. and truly that's the wonder of Harley 💕

Do you use Blue Oak and Green (f) or Green Oak and Blue (f)

And how far have you read in PokeSpe (if read out of order, which arcs have you read)?

I’ve read all up to the end of Alola, skipping through Emerald admittedly, and also the beginnings of the SWSH arc “^^ also, I use Blue Oak and Green, in part because I read it in English but also because that way Red has the Grass/green starter, Blue has the Fire/red starter, and Green has the Water/blue starter

i've had this idea for an amourshipping (kinda? maybe just platonically idk) little oneshot that's after battling at full volume (my favorite episode <3)

i've always liked to imagine that serena got sick after. like. she wore his clothes. she was in a very very small space with him. i feel like its just logical yk?

It took until Pokémon Legends: Z-A for them to have Latin American Spanish as an option at launch (previous you would have had to use Spain Spanish which had various differences and some words are bad words in only one or the other).

(I only speak English, but I can't believe how long it took. If it takes that long for a language, it will probably take a while for better skin tone options.)
