Unorthodox techniques as always.
Why is it that every time a protag gets underestimated, they completely wipe the floor with their opponents?
Team Rocket sure enjoys posturing.
How could we? You show up way too often for that.
Yellow is almost immediately distracted by the possibility of Red. Oh dear.
It looks like the Pokemon Fan Club President is rather clueless about his own boat.
Yellow is fairly good at deductive reasoning. It doesn't take her long at all to figure out what caused the destruction.
We're back!
Now that my apartment is all set up, I can finally get back to reading Pokespe! Here's hoping I can accomplish this at a little faster pace than I was going before.
Also, if you're interested in Bleach, I'll be doing a similar read of the Bleach manga in the near future! Once that blog is created, I'll post a notice here for anyone who is interested.
Quick note
Posts will be sporadic for the next few weeks here; I’m moving, so everything’s a bit backed up.

Oh dear. It seems that this guy has a very specific goal in mind.
Guess who's back. Back again. Say he's back. Tell a friend.
It looks like he really loves battles now, rather than simply adoring cute Pokemon. What a shift.
Red was the one who originally liberated this ship from Team Rocket. Yellow may or may not know that.
In other news, what is she looking for in Vermillion?
Green departs from training with Yellow with a smile on his face. Undoubtedly, that letter has information about his training results.
Also, look at that pro surfing. He's not even using his arms for balance.

Green usually doesn't think about life like this. Usually, he would be dour about the fact that her healing ability isn't going to help her particularly in battle situations, except for healing after the fact.
But this is different. The fact that a kid with the ability to heal Pokemon and speak to them is the protagonist here is important, and Green recognizes that. The true enemy of Yellow's arc is the damage to the environment due to mankind's greed and selfishness. But Yellow sees only goodness. She wants to heal the earth.
Looking at it like that, the Elite Four is hardly the true enemy of this arc. Especially considering Lance's goals - they're similar to Yellow's! The difference is that Yellow understands that Lance's solution would cause more damage to the earth, by destroying all human life and putting everything out of balance.
Green is coddling Yellow, which he would not have done in the past. Even though it's not particularly helpful coming from a teacher, it certainly shows he cares about Yellow's feelings.
It's possible that Green hasn't seen Yellow use her healing yet.

It seems that Green has learned a new technique in the last few years, rather than just messing around.
Yellow took his order without resistance, even though it put her in direct danger. That just goes to show the trust that she has in his skills, at the very least.
