I also learned how FUCKING fun it is to *ACTUALLY SKETCH ON PHYSICAL PAPER* this year so I have been doing that. A lot. I think I always knew that, but after I got my shiny tablet I majorly just... slacked on it... for a long time... but now I feel like I’ve passively leveled up enough that I can confidently put shapes down and just enjoy myself. It’s great. Highly recommend you get a ballpoint pen and a shitty little sketchbook from dollar tree, it’s good for the soul.

I was also, at one point, making an rpgmaker 2003 game set in @floraverse (see 1st pic), and while that project has stalled and waned for all sorts of reasons, the idea hasn’t fully gone away. I had a burst of inspiration about a month ago and redid all of the art in higher fidelity, for a higher quality engine (see pics 2 and 3). It’s a very fantastical setting and one I still want to make something in, whenever I’m able!

Did this semi-recently! A little redraw of one frame of my videogame a few years after release here, just to see how I could tweak the style. I think I like the new style a lot; It doesn't really erase the charm, just smooths it out. Not sure if I would update the graphics entirely at this point though, but I can dream.
