Being a Ukrainian kid is extremism for Russia

In the occupied Donetsk region, 161 children are being persecuted for “extremism”

As a result, Ukrainian schoolchildren and teenagers are being punished for any manifestations of national identity: from posts on social media to the use of Ukrainian symbols or listening to songs. Such actions are interpreted by the occupiers as “extremism” or “destructive behavior.” There have been cases of fines, forced “public apologies,” and pressure on families.

Particularly alarming is the forced referral of minors to psychiatric treatment: in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region alone, 161 children have been brought to criminal responsibility, 48 of whom have been sent to psychiatric institutions, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation.

My mom's university was damaged by russian attack, my friends' universities were damaged by russian attacks, and this night my university was damaged by russian attack.

I'm glad that none of the buildings were destroyed, but man... Attacks on Ukrainian education (and all other aspects of life) just never stop.

As of now, russians killed 7 people this night, the rescue operations are still ongoing. They took many innocent lives and destroyed a lot of infrastructure over past weeks. People's homes are gone.
