Issue/Edition: Politeen accepts submissions such as stories, poetry, and photography adhering to the theme of each current edition of the magazine. Politeen organizes 4 issues every 3 months based on a theme curated by the editors, a Fall/Autumn Edition (Sep-Nov), Winter Edition (Dec-Feb), Spring Edition (Mar-May) and Summer Edition (Jun-Aug)
Current Events: Politeen promotes a worldly point of view and accepts submissions covering daily events and breaking news. Submissions for current events have to be timely. We provide a platform for self-expression and emphasize freedom of speech.
Politics: Politeen provides a platform for self-expression and emphasizes freedom of speech. Being the space for political commentary and analyses from teens, we accept submissions of all kinds.
Art: Politeen accepts any medium of art as long as it is able to be represented on a digital platform. Art in Politeen includes visual, audio and expression, meaning that we'll accept your dramas and short films as well. In addition to images and videos, we also accept art commentary, art history, and coverage on art culture.
Pop Culture: Stories in our pop culture category envelop the progression of music, subcultures and cover celebs, fashion, and the latest trends. Similar to current events, submissions for pop culture have to be timely.
Written Work: essays, poetry, fictional and non-fiction short stories, editorial/journalistic articles, op-ed, commentary, reviews, current events/world news
Art: digital artwork, online comics, illustrations, images of paintings and artwork, photography, digital media, videos, short films (including transcripts, scripts), music (audio, SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube)
Works promoting bigotry, racism, sexism, ableism, islamophobia, homophobia... The list goes on and on. Politeen is designed as an inclusive platform for the underrepresented narratives to shine.

Politeen accepts weekly articles covering pop culture and current events and art. Follow the same guideline except add “WEEKLY” to the subject line of your email along with the category. Weekly pitches DO NOT have a deadline but we prefer these to be finalized. Editors will notify you of modifications and approval.
