This month flew by—and honestly, it wasn’t the easiest. I struggled with worsening pain in my left hand, which made it nearly impossible to do any art or creative work. On top of that, allergy season started, and I’ve been constantly congested.
But maybe that’s why I spent so much time in front of the TV. I binged a lot of shows (I’ll make a list below!) and found comfort in quiet moments.
Fearless, Adolescence, Vera, The Residence, Silent Witness, The Gentlemen, Blue Murder, Squad Game...
I read Hattaratalous and a handful of fascinating articles. I also spent some time with books on printmaking, and started reading Jag for ner till bror, Why has nobody told me this before and Intermezzo.
While studying, I had in my headphones—something soft and grounding.
My favorite piece this month? A cardigan I knitted myself. I wear it almost daily at home—it’s like a hug.
I found so many treasures at secondhand shops. I’ll share them in another post! I’ve been drawn to clothing again this year—exploring, experimenting, and trying to find a new sense of style.
Unfortunately, no creative projects this month due to my hand. But the urge to make is still there.
Spending time with friends and making progress in my studies brought light into the days. And even though the month was tough, I feel hopeful. Spring is here. Healing is slow, but it’s happening.
A rusty old cast iron pot I found secondhand—completely neglected, covered in rust. I restored it and it’s now one of my favorite things.
Good meals, small wins, and cozy evenings.
