i’m upset that polina gets so much hate. she gets hate from fans of the voice of russia for being “obnoxious, stupid and noisy”. she got hate from russians for kissing conchita, she was called a traitor by some people. but even after that she told people to respect conchita. back in 2013 when the infamous anti-gay law was approved she stated that she is against it and that she’s lgbt-friendly. she said the same stuff that sergey did (that she performs in gay clubs and that gay people are v nice and all that) but still gets hate for not being lgbt-friendly enough. please let my princess be. she is very brave. i am proud of her.
i was tagged by @zlatasgravity, @zoestraub, and @houseofeurovision thank u for remembering that i exist!! ily ♥

@zlatasgravity‘s questions!! (btw nice url kat)

hMM obvious answer would be this year because i could see poli and jamala and sanja and everyone live but i'd also go back to 2014 and witness the masterpiece that is tinkara kovac live??? idk bro i'd go to every single eurovision year good or bad

8. Pens or pencils?
PENCILS i rarely use pens unless i'm specifically told to
plus u can erase easily
there’s a reason why it’s pencil case and not pen case
9. Do you know any really interesting or weird facts that you want to tell us?
not really a fact, but here's something about space i find really interesting:
hold up your hands and clap them together. wait a few seconds, and try again. if you could somehow plot the distance between the first clap and the second clap, it would be more than 800 kilometers (!!!)
this is because the earth is moving around the sun, the sun is moving around the center of the galaxy, the galaxy is moving through the virgo supercluster and the virgo supercluster is moving through the universe. when you add up all the velocities and compare the result to the cosmic microwave background, which is the closest thing thing we have to a universal frame of reference, it comes out to about 800 km/s!!
so basically in the time it took you to read this you've traveled further than you'll ever walk in your life wheeeeeEEeeEeeeE
here's an article abt if you wish to read more!!

10. Have you ever secrety admired someone, like sending anonymous notes and stuff? If yes, tell us the story!
i secretly admire everyone tbh if you've ever gotten an ask from me then i prolly admire you a lot. i lowkey want to send y’all lovely compliments tbh
11. What was the sweetest comment you have ever received?
one time i hung out with an old, close friend and she was on a really good mood the entire time. i found it pretty interesting because she usually isn't as outgoing and doesn't smile as much, so i asked her what's up. "honestly, abel? you're the reason why i'm constantly smiling"
and now, for my questions!!
what's your opinion on trains? anything goes. just indulge me on trains, please.

got any stuffed animals/plushies? list three!
you get to have lunch with one esc artist, with the condition that the name of the lunch must rhyme with said artist's name (first/last name, doesn't matter). who would it be and what would you have for lunch? for example: spaghetti ravioli with poli (genova)

Today marks the 71st anniversary of the proclamation of independence of Indonesia! Amazingly, this was prophesied 800 years before it happened:
Sri Mapanji Jayabaya, Varmesvara, or Jayabhaya, (Javanese spelled: Ratu Joyoboyo) was Javanese King of the Kediri in East Java from 1135 to 1179 CE…
Ratu Jayabaya is most famous for his oracles or prophesies attributed to him, namely the Serat Jayabaya Musarar, Serat Pranitiwakya, and some debatable others. The manggala (prologue) of the famous Kakawin Bhāratayuddha names King Joyoboyo as the patron of the two poets, Mpu Sedah and Mpu Panuluh who were the authors of the work. Joyoboyo is also attributed as author of the Prelambang Joyoboyo, a prophetic book that played an important role in the Japanese occupation.
According to a selectively abridged set of stanzas within a Joyoboyo prophesy (all are extremely long epic poems):
“The Javanese would be ruled by whites for 3 centuries and by yellow dwarfs for the life span of a maize plant prior to the return of the Ratu Adil: whose name must contain at least one syllable of the Javanese Noto Negoro.”

When Japan occupied the Netherlands East Indies, in the first weeks of 1942, many Indonesians danced in the streets, welcoming the Japanese army as the fulfillment of the prophecy ascribed to Joyoboyo, who foretold the day when white men would one day establish their rule on Java and oppress the people for many years – but they would be driven out by the arrival of yellow men from the north. These yellow dwarves, Joyoboyo had predicted, would remain for one crop cycle, and after that Java would be freed from foreign domination. To most of the Javanese, Japan was a liberator: the prophecy had been fulfilled.
The Japanese freed Indonesian nationalists from Dutch prisons and hired them as civil servants and administrators. In the waning days of 1944, however, it was clear that Japan could not win the war. The Japanese officially granted Indonesia its independence on 9 August 1945, and the commander of Japan’s Southeast Asian forces appointed future President Sukarno as chairman of the preparatory committee for Indonesian independence. As one account of Indonesian history puts it, “With the minor exception that three crops had been harvested, Jayabaya’s prophecy had been realized.”
Many believe that the time for the arrival of a new Ratu Adil is near (as the prophecies put it, “when iron wagons could drive without horses and ships could sail through the sky”), and that he will come to rescue and reunite Indonesia after an acute crisis, ushering in the dawn of a new golden age.
Not just Jayabaya, Prabu Siliwangi from the western side of Java also prophesied a similar thing. Many people believe the transition to the golden age will start in 2017.
ps: Jayabaya also called as Prabu. Also means king.
Ugh it deleted my caption ANYWAYS

Um… how the fuck is there a lure on an unreachable pokestop? Like, I’m watching this thing, and there are no boats near it. Why is there a stop even out there?
I am literally sitting here in a kayak catching pokemon, and I still can’t figure out how someone got a lure on this pokestop. It’s just me out here, no other boats, like what the hell. People on the shore are staring at me. I can feel them judging me for actually paddling out to this pokestop. GOTTA CATCH EM ALL.
