I like to think that the end of stone ocean was Dios plan all along because he lowkey loved Jonathan as a brother and the joestars as family and felt bad about everything he’d done and wanted them to live a life free of him but was so proud he couldn’t bring himself to stop being evil so he planned everything out where if he died the universe could be reset without him and the joestars could all have happy normal lives and the whole ending was his plan all along so he could undo everything he’d done without having to face it himself
