Mass Update #1

Been busy blocking out the silhouette and basic shapes of the LSU (Life Support Unit) that will be attached with the helmet as one piece, It will hold

Oxygen tank

Water tank

Power Cel

Thrusters

Tools

Etc

Instead of having a complete exoskeleton type of suit, it will only have the tools and needs to survive in open space. Once you are inside your ship you can just take it of easy on a suit station and just leave your body suit (not too heavy and bulky) to freely move around.

Astronaut "Mass" Project

To kickstart my blog I would like to share a quick render of the basic block out of the helmet. I'm going to import this bad boy into zbrush and try some new technics to model hard surface details and components.

I'm a little bit rusty using zbrush, a lot of new things have changed since the last time I played around in it.Lets see what I end up with and I'll keep you posted.

New Website!

This week I have been working in multiple fun projects, New updates to my portfolio have been rolling during the week with old assets I crated in school last year. 

I've been experimenting with Cinema 4D renderer and I love it! really easy to create basic materials and lighting setups compared to maya.  Love the real time preview of the material you are creating.

Cinema gives me a way to achieve the "look" I'm looking for for my portfolio, so you will be seeing a lot of old assets being re-rendered looking more alive and delicious!
