I want to apologize for not updating since Feb. I’ve been going through serious health issues, I’ll try my best to update this as we head full into MCR Tour time.
I’m also super into making friends (I’ve got no MCR friends), and/or anyone willing to help out with my black parade lore and my Gerard info presentations!
Hi!! I've been out of the loop with mcr lately but I have tickets for the show this summer and I was wandering if you could explain....wtf is happening at their shows rn?😳 What I understand is they play the whole tbp and some random songs, but who are the actors/their characters? Is there a plot to the show?

My Chemical Romance (well gerard) has created this fictional country called Draag with a fictional language called Keposhka, led by the grand immortal dictator (Wayne Jay). The first US leg and the South American leg told a different story but they were connected.
Before the shows start, rules appear on the screens for the audience to read, in both English and Keposhka.
The South American leg showed The Black Parade (the band) in training for the events of the US leg. The clerk (Charlie Saxton) appears as a prisoner along with the members of the band who are wearing their original black parade outfits except they are burned and have cobwebs on them. Sylvia (Charlotte Kelso) appears as a doctor who is feeding the black parade pills at the start of the show. Some of them (Frank and sometimes Mikey) refuse to take them. (Notable time Frank refused to take his pill is when he kisses Charlie. For fun.) Sylvia also sings the Liza Minnelli parts during mama. Speaking of mama, an extended part of the song has been added to it, where Gerard sings about a plan that the gentleman has told him about with his dagger. The Gentleman is a ventriloquist doll that Gerard is like Motherly to. The band is also being spectated throughout the show on stage by The Secretary (Gemma Scoble). Every night at the end of the show during Blood, Charlie is rolled out in a gurney by The Secretary who hands Gerard a dagger. Gerard proceeds to climb on top of Charlie and stabs him repeatedly while ripping out his guts. The final performance in this leg, The Grand Immortal Dictator appears at the end with Sylvia and the Secretary. Gerard has “graduated” and receives his brand new Black Parade jacket which we see him wear in the US leg. He then proceeds to stab Charlie.
The US leg starts with the Black Parade clocking in for work, which they don’t seem to want to do. Throughout the show The Clerk repeatedly tries to get Gerard in line, slapping him (and doing other things to him) when he refuses to cooperate. The audience is handed a Yea/Nay sign before entering the venue which is used to execute four prisoners on the b stage. Regardless of what the audience votes for, the prisoners get executed. For most of the US leg the opera parts are sung by Marianne (Lucy Joy Altus) who is the daughter of her handler (Mike Cormier) who has given her to the grand immortal dictator as a singer. Her father also appears in the South American leg as a janitor. At the end of all of these shows Charlie Saxton appears again as a suicide bomber clown, killing Gerard. Soldiers put bags over Ray and Franks heads pulling them off stage, as Mikey hits soldiers with his bass and runs off. The clown then proceeds to perform Blood around Gerard’s dead body and then blows up lol.
In the final show of this US leg, the prisoners that appear on the b stage are all dressed like all four members of the black parade. Gerard and the others are hesitant to get them executed, but the grand immortal dictator persists and they die. And the end of the show, the clown stabs Gerard but he does not die. And he proceeds to stab Gerard several times throughout Blood, and then they blow up together.
As for after all of that lol the band appears back on stage (in the US leg it was the b stage and in the South American leg it was just the normal stage because they didn’t have a b stage) and they perform 10 (unless it’s a festival then it’s less) non black parade songs. Gerard introduces them as My Chemical Romance from New Jersey because they are no longer The Black Parade.
fuck I also forgot about the grand auxiliary band (who are nurses in the South American leg) played by Clarice Jensen, Kayleigh Goldsworthy, and Tucker Rule.
