My one true AtLA wish is for Katara to not have noticed that the Jasmine Dragon was run by Iroh and Zuko in disguise until “Lee” was standing right in front of her serving her tea and, like that one Perry the Platypus and Doofenshmirtz scene, she can’t attack him because she too is bound by societal conventions to not cause a scene in a nice public fine-dining area (after all, the Jasmine Dragon is in the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se) so they just make awkward small talk until she leaves or the end of his shift because Katara orders multiple cups of tea in order to pseudo-interrogate Zuko whenever he brings it over (as quietly and fake-politely as possible) and because Iroh undeniably makes the best tea. Katara walks away thinking “Zuko’s a pretty ok dude once you get past all the teenage angst” and Zuko walks away thinking “Did I just make a friend?”

Alternative turn on all the Arranged Marriage AUs: Katara is the firelord. Since she defeated Azula, by all the laws, she's legitly the firelord.

Fire sages: *come to help unconscious Zuko*

Katara: Good, he won, he's now the firelord

Fire sages: no you won you're the firelord

Katara: what

And since she doesn't want to be firelord (yet, it's Katara, give her some time and she'll feel super confortable with power) she arranges a marriage with Zuko so he keeps the power as it should have happened.

Zuko: *regains consciousness * Uh

Katara: *wearing a royal topknot and red robes* So, some things might have happened...

Extra points if it happens so fast he's still unconscious

Zuko: you're the firelord

Katara: yup

Zuko: and you married us

Katara: it was necessary, yes.

Zuko: without asking me first?!

Katara: do you want a divorce?

Zuko: No! No, i just-

Katara: Good. Now be a good firelady and help me with the external policies
