My Favorite thing about Gravity Falls

My favorite thing about Gravity falls is that all the AUs it breeds could be canon, Because the show itself set up the multiverse. So that Reverse Falls?  Transcendence? Monster falls? Relativity falls?  An AU where the whole cast are Gnomes? They all could technically exist in the canon, just in a different dimension. Maybe Ford, in his travels, actually took a pit stop there. The possibilities are endless.

... Why is Mason wearing a playgirl... Lingerie? Outfit? I dunno what to call that, but he is lacking the usual suit and cape.

“... O-Oh, it’s, uh... ‘Michael’...” he frowns. Whole face going red. “Dammit, I was looking for Bill--” he leaves the room, covering his face with both hands in embarrassment.

Micheal blinked for a moment, a smile on his face. “Yeah, you do.” It was a mixture of relief and concern at the man’s reaction, a mixture of figuring that the feeling of being secondary to his sister’s talents. He couldn’t help but wonder if that was the case here, as it did seem as such.

It almost made him wonder if this Stanford showed more appreciation to the potential efforts that the twins here must show for him. 

“Are you okay there? ...Am I missing something about this dimension that I should have known?” Hopefully saying that is not anything somehow taboo, after the emotional rollercoaster those few words seemed to send Stanley on.

A dark, sinister chuckle escapes Ford’s throat, but he just shrugs. “When you’ve got the ‘bad’ half of your former demon like I have in me... I don’t know. I notice I enjoy eats meats ravenously.” He pauses, contemplating some nice, juicy steaks with the perfect amount of sauces and the juicy tenderloin flavor...

It seems like he purrs when he has these thoughts. A deep, animalistic purr as well...

Stanley pops his head when he spots Ford. “Oh, hey Poindexter—“ he sees Michael and his blue eyes widen.

“Ohhh, hello there!” He walks up to his alternate nephew and holds out his hand for a handshake. “My name’s Stanley! Are ya lost?”

Micheal was not quite sure what to do with this newfound knowledge, simply giving an awkward laugh. Okay, this place sure did seem different from the dimension he is typically used to. Great.

He had to pause when approached by Stanley, then giving an awkward nod. “ . . . A bit lost, I’d say.” He gladly shook the hand when held out, awkward as he did so. “Micheal, pleased to meet you. I’m, uh- not from around here.” Glancing back to Stanford for a moment, he then met the eyes again. “You seem decent.”

“Oh-- that. Yes, the Magician’s Guild is not exactly something we can get rid of, Great Aunt Florimel still actively needs to handle them.” Micheal will never fully get used to seeing those sharp teeth on what essentially looked like a male version of his great aunt, he supposed. He was used to seeing Wilma, who was not particularly fond of showing off sharp teeth, so the demon connection did not click too soon. 

“Is this universe still, uh... handling itself well? Hope you have the demon here under control, to some regard.” Is this casual conversation here? If not just this dimension, then for Ford at least.

Great. Not something he wants to dwell on more than he has to. “Not to kinkshame, but the last thing I want to think about is my alternate sibling’s sex life with a demon!”

He put his hand down when realizing the voice was tuning out, letting out a sigh of relief. Micheal then glanced over at Ford, with a small nod. “It’s a pleasure to see you again, I guess.” Micheal outstretches a hand for Ford to shake, still uncertain on what he should think of this alternate version of his great aunt.

Micheal just blinked, putting a hand up to avert his eyes. “I did not need to see that from an alternate of my sister, thank you very much.”

Groaning in frustration, he then added, “This seems to be going just great today, isn’t it?” Pausing, Micheal only had one question after the words processed in his mind-- “Wait, Bill? You dressed up like,” he gestured in the vague direction of Mason, not wanting to look again as the sight was already in his mind more than he wished it to be, “this for that dream demon?”

Bill sat up when the potential threat of Wilma spilling his presence there came up. He had a slight glare at the very thought.

“She better keep her mouth shut. Damn lovesick fool.” He muttered. Thinking of his days as a muse with Ford. Ugh. Bill felt like he was so pathetic back then. His sour mood lightened. “Thanks. I uh… I could maybe make a deal with you. Ah. Wait… Wilma said not to. Didn’t she? Ah well. I was hoping I could teach you some magical stuff that you may be restricted from. And libraries only have so much knowledge stored away.”

Bill leaned back. Shrugging.

“Oh well. I’d rather not upset the balance here.”

Micheal gave a shrug, grinning. “I mean, it is frowned upon but she never did specifically tell me that I couldn’t.” He wanted to learn some of the restricted magic, especially if he had the opportunity to do so. 

“She’s tried hard to keep quiet about her siblings, you know. She wants us to not know about you, since apparently it’s ‘unsafe’ on some end.” He paused for a moment, lowering his voice, “The thing is-- she has to listen to orders, as part of the deal she made as a lovestruck fool. She has told us as little as possible before you showed up, but, well. Not sure if my dear aunt would take her vague answers for very long if she knew there was another dream demon here.”

“Don’t mention it,” Micheal commented, with a small smile on his face that betrayed his voice’s attempt to be off-putting. He stared as the demon took the antidote, with a shrug.

He then gave a slight grin. “Well . . . I mean, no one said she even needs to know you are here,” Micheal stated, fiddling with his hand. “Not sure if you could keep some distance of she knows, you know?” Oh, this he thinks might be fun. “Might have to order Wilma to keep quiet about this, just in case.” After a long pause, he then decided to add, “And, I guess you are pretty decent company, too.”

He paused, watching as Bill seemed to put up some defenses after he tried making a joke, awkwardly staring for a moment. 

“Right, right. Everyone stretches the truth sometimes, no blame for that.” Micheal then shuffled a bit, staring at the demon with small hints of anger, most likely having a terrible moment, and decided to plop the antidote into Bill’s hand.

 “To help with that basilisk venom,” he stated, glancing away. “Figured it is the least I could do after drudging up bad memories-- those can bring worse pain anyways, so it’s only fair. Guessing you are no longer exactly fond of Stanford Pines.”

Serafina was going through the library for a specific book. Adjusting her glasses to read the labels carefully. The sound of someone else coming into the area caught Serafina’s attention. Her sharp ice blue eyes fixating upon Micheal.

“Oh hello dear.”

The silverette offered a gentle smile. Then opened the book and turned the pages. Trying to find a specific chapter in it.

“Did you need something?”

Micheal glanced around the books, scouring the rows for a moment before pausing under the gaze. He was technically trying to look for potential bits and pieces on either the family or to touch up on more spellwork, but instead shook his head.

“Nothing in particular, just . . . looking for an interesting read.” A stretch from reality, but not technically a lie. His eyes then scanned across the bookshelf, then back to Serafina. “I hope I did not interrupt your reading, though. Am I needed for anything-- should I be looking into anything in particular?”

Micheal rolled his eyes at that, huffing. How hypocritical, annoyance at the small bit of power lost after he literally poisoned Bill to get some power over the demon? He nonetheless watched the demon for a bit, eyes scouring over. “Right . . . Anyways.” 

He pursed his lips for a moment, then asking, “You have some problems with your dimension’s version of my great aunt, then? Did he end up trying to toy about with your emotions, or something?”
