What is this. A horse. It has a mane. Finally. One of his kind. "Mom?"
Come forth, child. Allow me to show you the majesty of your home lands. Nothing quite like rolling in your own faeces and getting eaten by predators.
I cannot believe that I wrote a detailed paragraph about a horse kicking Sting Eucliffe
"There's a nice little pony.." Watch Sting Eucliffe as he attempts to socialise with a species other than his own, a venture that is likely to end in tears, and the town's hospital.
As with all animals of prey, instincts dictated the young mare’s being. Was the approaching individual a threat to her? Friend, or Foe? It would be most unfortunate for her to encounter a potential predator when abandoned by the herd upon acquiring an injury: the horse’s form stood out like a sore thumb to anything that wished to harm her in this depleted state. After a few seconds of debate, the equine rounded on her hindquarters, and defenses were set into action.
For his gentle call he receives nothing but a tempered squeal, and flailing back legs. The risk was simply too high.

YO U DEDICATED A PART OF THE ABOUT PAGE TO TEACH EVERYONE PONY BEHAVIOR. I'M EVEN MORE BAFFLED. you could do, like, a daily pony factual post or something.
daily facts w/ Emily, your official source for all things pony.
A pony. A real pony. How long had it been since she had last seen one from a reasonable distance? She had probably still been a little girl when she had come close to one.
They say that curiosity killed the cat, and in this instance, it may well kill the pony, too. If there was a definite fault to be paired with this mare, it was an inquisitive nature (or nosiness). An inquisitive nature that seemed to cause her to venture towards potentially dangerous beings.
Though ears pricked cautiously in the direction of the approaching individual, and muscles prepared to gallop in the opposite direction, she deems it safe enough to move towards this curious being.
A cheerful chuckle.
"Now now, what a beautiful and adorable creature. I think that one likes me."
These two-legged beings certainly made strange noises. Still, this one seemed not to be occupied with causing her any harm, and so in his company she would remain. Curiosity pushed her to further investigate this specimen, eyeing the fabric that many a human appeared to wear.
